The Rock + CM Punk
Instead of writing about The Rock and CM Punk in two different chapters, I figured I'd just write about them both in the same chapter. I don't have too much to say about them, anyway, so it's easier this way.
The Rock:
I really love The Rock. I remember when I used to be in love with John Cena, and I hated The Rock and everything about him. xD I'm glad that phase of my life is over.
He just seems so genuine and extremely nice, but also really funny. And he's a pretty good actor. I follow him on Instagram, and he's always posting pictures with his fans and he seems so happy.
Whenever I'm watching videos on YouTube, I normally skip through the ads, but when the trailer for his new movie Central Intelligence came on, I sat through the whole two minutes. It looks hilarious.
Fun Fact: Before I became a wrestling fan, the first thing I ever saw The Rock in was The Game Plan, but I didn't realize he was a wrestler. But when he showed up to do his thing at WrestleMania 27, I was like, "Whoa, he's a wrestler??" and my brother thought I was an idiot. xD
One last thing: While I do love The Rock, I don't think he should've been WWE Champion back when he beat CM Punk. (2013? I think so lol). After he won it, he just showed up randomly. I get that he was busy, but they shouldn't have given him the title if he couldn't show up on TV and defend it. That just made me really mad.
CM Punk:
I miss CM Punk. He does this thing on the Nerdist YouTube channel called Grammar Slam and it's hilarious. I watched two episodes of it today, and then this video showed up called something along the lines of "Best and Funniest CM Punk Moments." I clicked on it and watched it, and I realized how much I miss CM Punk.
Punk is also genuine, but in a different way from The Rock. Punk is a sarcastic jerk, but that's who he genuinely is, and I love it. (I always like the jerks lol, must be why I love Seth Rollins so much)
I totally jumped on the bandwagon when he gave his infamous pipebomb, but I've stayed on the bandwagon ever since. I've been a CM Punk fan since 2011 and I still am. I understand why he left the WWE, but I do miss him. I want him to be happy, though, and he was anything but happy with the WWE.
Fun Fact: While his pipebomb in 2011 is great, my favorite promo of his was in 2012 and is the video I've included. I loved every minute of it.
