This isn't really a review, because I didn't get to see the whole PPV (just a few matches). It's more of a rant.

So I didn't watch most of SummerSlam for multiple reasons: I didn't realize it started an hour earlier than usual, I had to drop my brother off somewhere and get myself dinner (which took another hour), and then I didn't watch the last two matches for reasons I'll get to.

By the time I started watching, it was the end of the tag team title match. (Jon Stewart was there for some reason?)

So I started off on the weirdness of Big E drinking ball juice.

Next was the WWE title match, and that's where this rant starts.

This is a TITLE. It is a WORLD TITLE. It is an IMPORTANT TITLE.

It should not have been in the middle of the god damn PPV.  Sure, I get that they didn't want it to be the main event (because Orton/Lesnar), but they could've put it farther in the show.

The match also felt a bit underwhelming. The guys were fine, but I guess it was the crowd? They weren't really into it, and I don't know if they just didn't care, or if they were worn out because of how long the show was.

The match just suddenly ended, and I was left going, "That was it?" I feel like Dean and Dolph could've put on such a better match.

Next was the 6-woman tag match, which shouldn't have been after that title match (because this one wasn't for a title).

The reasoning for Eva Marie not being there was funny, and I still really love Naomi's entrance. I was also happy to see Nikki Bella back (I may not be a fan of her, but it's always nice to see someone return from an injury).

The match was good, and I'm glad these women all got a chance to shine during SummerSlam. (I don't have any complaints.)

Next was the Universal Championship match.

Oh god...

Okay, Brooklyn, here's where I got annoyed.

I get that you may not have liked the title (sure, it's a little weird, but I don't have a problem with it). What I don't get is why you felt the need to chant and boo about it during the fucking match.

Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins is a dream match, and you guys ruined it by being a bunch of jerks and crybabies.

You didn't like the title? Go complain on Twitter. These guys were in the ring wrestling for you and all you could do was focus on the title. You may have thought the chants were funny, but they weren't.

Write Vince McMahon a strongly worded letter for all I care, just don't be disrespectful jerks.

The match itself was really good, and the highlight of my night.

I stopped watching after that because, in my mind, it should have been the main event. I did not care at all about Orton/Lesnar, and the only reason Rusev/Reigns was so close to the end of the show was because Roman Reigns was in it. :-/

I plan on watching the beginning of the PPV after I post this, because I heard it was good. (Well, I heard the Enzo & Cass match, and the women's title match were good.)
