I stopped watching SmackDown a long time ago.  I think when 2016 started and it moved to Thursdays, I stopped watching.

Partly because I'm busy Thursday nights, and partly because SmackDown just had matches we already saw on Raw, or just a not important match.  I mean, when was the last time a title changed hands on SmackDown?

But! Now they've announced that SmackDown is moving to Tuesdays (meaning I can watch it) AND they're going to have a draft, like they used to, so each show has its own roster, AND the show is going to be live, like Raw!

I'm guessing Stephanie will get one show and Shane will get the other, since that makes the most sense.

Hopefully, this means that some of my favorite people who never get to wrestle on Raw (Zack Ryder, Tyler Breeze, etc) will get some matches on one of the shows after the draft!

So far, this "new era" has really just been people from NXT joining the main roster, and while I only have one complaint (Apollo Crews has no character - he didn't even have one in NXT), the new era hasn't really been...exciting or new.  I mean, just this week on Raw, there was no women's match.  There was a promo, which was just Charlotte yelling at Ric, but that was it.

But now that SmackDown has moved and is getting its own roster, I'm actually going to watch it again!  This is a step in the right direction for this new era!
