I've seen a Tumblr post about problematic faves, so I figured I'd cover a little bit of it in this book.

Y'all, Seth Rollins is a problematic fave.  It doesn't matter which way you look at it, he is problematic af.

I will say that Seth Rollins is my absolute favorite because if you combine wrestling and my favorite music, you get him. :P But I am aware he is problematic.  He cheated on his girlfriend of 7ish years. THEY WERE ENGAGED. Cheating is not okay.

There were dick pics.  There were nudes.  There were so many problems.

I also really love Edge, but he's also problematic.  Lita was dating Matt Hardy, he KNEW this, and he still went after her (Lita is problematic too tbh) and pretty much stole her from Matt.

And it's okay to have problematic faves.  These people are your faves for a reason.  But you have to realize that what they've done isn't okay, and that you shouldn't defend them in that regard.

It's one thing if someone is saying Seth can't wrestle (come at me bro) and you're defending him because that person is obviously blind.  But it's a whole other thing if you're trying to defend Seth for cheating on Leighla.  That's not okay.  What he did was wrong, and you need to realize that.

A big thing that gets on my nerves is when people start sentences with "If you were a true fan, you'd..." because no.  If you were a true fan, you'd realize what your fave did was wrong, you'd acknowledge it, and you can go on supporting them in whatever it is they do.

This was just something I needed to get off my chest + let everyone know about.
