Panic! at the Disco

Panic! came to my school last night (college is great) and they were AMAZING!

The tickets were only $15 (since I'm a student; everyone else paid $20), and you could get a wristband to stand in the pit for no extra money, so I did!

LOLO opened for them (she's in the song Miss Jackson), and she was really good, even though I didn't really know her songs. (She had a guy onstage with her, and aye he was nice to look at.)

And Panic! finally came out and they were great! :D

Brendon was doing all kinds of flips and holy shit it was crazy.

At one point, the lights went out, and Brendon said, "We just wrote this song backstage," and they started playing Bohemian Rhapsody. xD It was great, and I think Panic! is one of the only bands who can pull off a cover of that.

And when he sang I Write Sins Not Tragedies, he stopped singing during the first verse and went "You guys know the words!" so EVERYONE was singing along and it was so awesome.

Of course, LOLO came out for Miss Jackson (she also favorited my tweet aye).

They played a lot of songs before Brendon sang, and when he finally did, he was telling us how he wasn't allowed to swear (since it was technically a school event), and how it was going to be hard for him because he swears all the time. xD And at one point, he said crap, then went on to say, "Is that a swear word? Well, I guess it's not a GOOD word." xD

I had read somewhere that they weren't playing anything from Pretty. Odd. at concerts anymore, but he started Nine in the Afternoon, so I was wrong (for now, anyway). But he stopped before he sang because we weren't loud enough.

And I got to meet an Internet friend I've known for nearly 5 years!  Kalina and I both live in Arkansas, but not in the same city, so we'd never met until last night.  My friends and I got there almost 3 hours early, while she got there at a reasonable time, and we hugged, and she learned that I was short, and it was nice! :)

As a soprano, Brendon Urie made me feel ashamed of my high notes because damn his are impressive.

I also walked to the venue, because it's really close to my house.

When Panic! goes on tour (with Weezer and Andrew McMahon), they're actually coming to Arkansas (I freaked out when I saw), but it's 3 hours away, so I didn't plan on going, but I kinda want to see them again?  It's probably sold out, though, and I'd want M&G, too, and that's really expensive so it's probably not happening lol

Anyway... I definitely recommend seeing Panic! because Brendon is so energetic and funny and great.

(I just realized I never talked about the Fall Out Boy concert I went to last month oops)

[This rant was nice and lighthearted, but just a warning, the next one isn't.  It's actually going to have a trigger warning at the beginning, so read at your own risk.]
