NXT Takeover: The End Review
Before I begin, I just want to let it be known how much I loved the theme Paranoia by A Day to Remember because that song is great. While the Babymetal song was great, too, I preferred the ADTR song because I screamed along with it every time it played.
Anyway...
On to the review!

Tye Dillinger vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas
Winner: Andrade "Cien" Almas
I'm a really big fan of Tye Dillinger (let him win sometimes!), and apparently I'm now a fan of Almas.
The outfit he came out in was kinda weird, but I did like his gear.
The match was really good too! Not too long, not too short! It really gave us a taste of Almas, and I'm guessing he'll introduce himself next week on the show.

American Alpha (Chad Gable & Jason Jordan) vs. The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)
NXT Tag Team Championship match
Winners: The Revival
The NXT tag team division does not disappoint, and this match right here proved it.
It was an amazing match that had me on the edge of my seat, and while I'm sad Gable and Jordan are no longer champs, The Revival are now the first 2x NXT Tag Team Champions, and that's something to celebrate.
And on the pre-show, when they were interviewed, and Dash kept squirting water into his eyes so that he was "crying" was honestly great. xD
And then the "Authors of Pain" (at least, according to Triple H) showed up out of nowhere, attacking Gable and Jordan, breaking my heart even more, and then the Paul guy showed up (I know his last name, but I don't want to spell it wrong, so for now, he is "the Paul guy") and I was just so confused, but they definitely made an impact.
For me, this was the match of the night.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Austin Aries
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
This match was absolutely amazing. While the tag team match was match of the night for me, this was in a close second.
Nakamura and Aries are both amazing, and they proved it last night.
I'm still not 100% sure why Aries had his ribs bandaged, but whatever.
I also recently discovered I'm a big fan of Nakamura's theme, and apparently the crowd was, too. :P Also, shoutout to the guy in the crowd who freaking dressed up as Shinsuke Nakamura. xD
Nothing to me will be better than Zayn vs. Nakamura, but this is definitely a close second.
-
Asuka vs. Nia Jax
NXT Women's Championship match
Winner: Asuka
When I watched my very first episode of NXT, Nia Jax was with Eva Marie, and I was not a fan of her.
Last week's episode, though, made me a fan. She's the only person who's made Asuka doubt herself just a little bit, and at Takeover, she proved she's a force to be reckoned with.
Asuka, of course, put on a great match, too. Triple H (I think) pointed out that Nia Jax has just under a year of experience, while Asuka has been wrestling for nearly 10 years, so it was obviously intimidating and a challenge to step into the ring with the NXT Women's Champion. Luckily, Nia proved that she can wrestle with the veterans.
-
Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor
Steel Cage match for the NXT Championship
Winner: Samoa Joe
As the first ever steel cage match in NXT, this match had a lot riding on it. Luckily, it did not disappoint.
This match was great, and I really enjoyed it. At one point, I actually thought Finn Balor was going to win (but Joe pulled him back into the ring), but Samoa Joe is more than deserving of that title.
Hopefully, this means that we'll be seeing Finn Balor on the main roster soon. :P
(Also, I did Finn's entrance along with him, and I accidentally banged my hand into the wall behind me, so I quickly stopped doing that.)

Bobby Roode
He wasn't in a match or anything, but I wanted to talk about him.
When William Regal was being interviewed, and Roode just casually walked by, I literally just repeated "Um" over and over, even after the segment ended.
I kinda like that NXT is getting all of TNA's top stars (Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries) because they're all amazing at what they do. The one month I watched TNA a couple of years ago, these guys stood out to me, and now they get to stand out in NXT.
I'm assuming that since Bobby Roode went into Regal's office, he was signing a contract. Right now, I'm not sure who I want him to feud with, but whoever it is, I'm sure it'll be good.
Okay, so the PPV was great and I loved it, but I'm still unsure why it was called "The End." Triple H mentioned that NXT was no longer just developmental, but its own brand, but is that it? I mean, I guess it's the end of the Samoa Joe/Finn Balor feud, but I feel like there should've been more about that.
I already mentioned this, but the match of the night was definitely the tag team match.
Honestly, all I really have left to say is #PushTyeDillinger.
