This was an amazing match, and it was a great one to start the show off with!

I was rooting for American Alpha to win, and they didn't disappoint!  I do like The Revival, but Chad Gable and Jason Jordan are friendship goals, and now they're champions! :D

If all the tag teams on the main roster were like this, I'd like more than just The New Day.

Baron Corbin vs. Austin Aries
Singles Match
Winner: Austin Aries

I expected Aries to win because it's his debut match in NXT.  I absolutely love Baron Corbin, and I've seen Austin Aries wrestle in TNA a couple of times, so this match did not disappoint!

Can't wait to see what Aries does in NXT!

Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

This is definitely a Match of the Year nominee.  I was hooked on this match from beginning to end.  I love Sami Zayn, and he did amazing!  This was my first time seeing Nakamura wrestle, but he did not disappoint!

If Sami Zayn wasn't on the main roster now, I'd love to see these to wrestle again!

Everyone should strive to make their matches as good as this one was.

Asuka vs. Bayley
NXT Women's Championship Match
Winner: Asuka

I will admit that I was slightly disappointed when Bayley didn't win, but then I figured this meant she's going to the main roster soon!  The Four Horsewomen will be together again!

Asuka is an amazing wrestler, and a worthy Women's Champion.

I also think it says A LOT that Bayley didn't tap out.  She held on as long as she could, but eventually she passed out.

I wish main roster Divas matches were this good. (I have high hopes for the Divas Championship match at WM, though.)

Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor
NXT Championship Match
Winner: Finn Balor

I totally thought Finn's paint was cool and all, but why?  Why does he wear the paint?  Am I missing something? xD

Samoa Joe starting bleeding within the first minute of the match, but it didn't stop him.  Like Austin Aries, I've seen some of his matches from TNA, and he's really good!

Both of these guys are amazing wrestlers, and they put on a great match!

This was the first NXT Takeover I've ever watched, and it was really good!  Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura definitely stole the show, but all the matches were great!

I'll try to give reviews of these more often, assuming people like this one!
