Initials
When people are writing a fanfic, they usually put the person they're writing about in the title (i.e., Hello Brooklyn | Zack Ryder), and that's cool. I get that. It's helpful.
I don't like it when people just put their initials, because it bugs me so much. Someone I follow (not in the WWE fandom) has been reading something, and all it says in the title in terms of the person is "d.h." and when I go to look at the summary, it's just a random quote.
Because this person isn't in the WWE fandom, I'm not going to read the story. But I kinda want to know who d.h. is. xD
I just find it helpful to put the full name instead of the initials. If you put b.l., I don't know who that is. Becky Lynch? Brock Lesnar? The world may never know.
It's especially unhelpful when someone stumbles across your story, but they're not apart of the same fandom as you, so they're just left wondering who the heck b.l. and d.h. are!
And, yeah, if you put the name instead of the initials, they still won't know who they are, but at least they can look them up and find out! (I've done this multiple times!)
Sometimes, if I don't recognize the initials, I'll sit there for five minutes trying to figure it out before I actually click on the story to find out.
The only reason I know that l.h. is Luke Hemmings is because every other story on this website is about him. But I've never seen d.h. before, so who knows who that could be!
If you put k.o., yeah I know you're talking about Kevin Owens, and yeah, if you put d.z., I know that's Dolph Ziggler. But imagine you decide to write a Luke Harper story, and you just put his initials, l.h., there are going to be some angry 5SOS fans reading your story. xD
Also, it's weird when the person just has one name. You'd just put f. That's it. Just f. Know who that is? No? It's Fandango.
This is a dumb thing to get annoyed over, but it really does annoy me, and I wish people would stop doing it. >.<
