FastLane Review
I have things to write, but I wanted to post this today, before no one cares about reviews of this PPV.
All right, before I begin, I'd just like to say that I didn't watch the whole PPV. I was doing something until 7 ( + I kinda forgot it was happening), and by the time I got home, one match had already happened. Instead of starting from the beginning, I decided to watch it live. And then I got bored, so I didn't watch part of it. xD So here's a review of what I saw.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens:
So, I know these two face each other ALL THE TIME, but they're currently two of my favorites on the roster, so I haven't minded it so much. I would've liked those matches more if there was a reason they kept facing each other, but whatever.
Then, the Monday before FastLane, Kevin Owens won the IC Title. Now they had something to fight for.
I missed the beginning of the match, but what I saw was really good. I feel like I was into it more than all their other matches because it was for a title. Ziggler and Owens are two of the best wrestlers currently on the roster, so I had no problem with this feud or this match.
Owens won, but it would have been weird for him to lose the title when he didn't even have it for a week, and I wanted him to win anyway, so that was good.
The Wyatt Family vs. Kane, Big Show, and Ryback
I wish I was into this match. I really do. But I did not care about this match at all. I don't like Kane, Big Show, or Ryback.
I was really into the Wyatt Family when they first debuted because they were so cool and mysterious, but now I've just lost all hope. No matter what feud they're in, they lose. It sucks. They are a great team, with a great gimmick, but they keep losing. I get that they're heels, but they aren't viewed as credible if they keep losing.
I'm not sure why this match happened, honestly. And I don't know who won, because I was on my phone the whole time, waiting for it to end.
Brie Bella vs. Charlotte
I missed the first Divas match, but I got to watch this one. Before I talk about it, I just want to say this: Divas are getting TWO PPV matches now, and I'm so happy. :')
Okay, back to the match. I don't like Brie or Charlotte, but this match was really good. I was rooting for Brie to win, and they both played their roles well. Brie was the face whose husband just retired (I loved that she was wearing Bryan's kickpads), and Charlotte was the heel who kept bringing it up and trying to make her feel bad.
I didn't like Charlotte very much before, but I'm beginning to like her a little. She's improving on the mic, and I prefer her as a heel with Ric than as a face, like when she was in Team PCB. I loved when she mocked Bryan, it was very heel-ish.
I also loved when Brie mocked Ric, because that was pretty funny.
I've always preferred Brie over Nikki (out of the ring, not in-ring), and I actually liked this match. I feel like Brie should have won, because I'm pretty sure she plans on retiring soon (I think maybe during the summer), and it would be nice for her to have one last run with the title. (Charlotte's been on the main roster less than a year, so she still has plenty of time to win the title again.)
I stopped watching after this, so I don't have an opinion about anything else. I thought about waiting for the New Day, but I wasn't sure how long I'd have to wait, so I just stopped watching and went on Netflix. xD
OVERALL OPINION:
I don't think there should be a PPV in February. There is literally no point. No one lost their title last night. The freaking WHC title wasn't even defended. Absolutely nothing important happened last night.
When the February PPV was Elimination Chamber, even when nothing important happened, there was still the cool EC match we could look forward to.
Also, wouldn't it have been cool if Sami Zayn debuted after Kevin Owens' match? That would've been awesome, but sadly, it didn't happen.
This PPV was just Monday Night Raw, except most of the titles were defended.

This PPV was just disappointing, overall. I normally try to stick around until the end (even when I miss the beginning), but I knew nothing relevant or exciting was going to happen, so I didn't even try.
The only good thing I can think of was the two Divas matches. That's a major improvement, and I'm really happy that the Divas are finally getting somewhere.
Okay, that's all I have. I'm going to go do homework now.
