A lot of what I'm going to say is going to contradict my original Eva Marie rant, but I finally got around to watching some NXT matches, so I've seen a little bit of what she's been doing.

I still don't have the Network, but I've watched a couple of NXT matches on YouTube (mostly Diva ones), and there are some great people.  I love Bayley, Carmella, and Alexa.

And then there's Eva.

In my original rant, I said that we should give Eva a chance, because she's actually trying to improve by going down to NXT and training.

Well... Has she actually done any training?

Her in-ring work has improved a little, but she's still not very good.  I saw her match against Bayley from a few weeks ago, and... well, it was crazy, that's for sure. (Mostly because of all the ref changes lol)  Bayley was amazing and I love seeing her wrestle, but Eva was... slightly better than the last time I saw her.  She is selling moves now, so that's definitely a good thing.

Eva has been training for a couple of months, but she's barely improved.  It's bad when Carmella, a Diva who supposedly had two weeks of training when she debuted, performs better than you. (I know Carmella didn't actually have only two weeks, but you get my point.) And speaking of Carmella, I read somewhere that in a match against Eva, she was injured.  Why are we trusting someone who injured another Diva to face the champion?

And her mic skills... Oh god, they're horrible.  I saw when she came out and challenged Bayley to a title match, and it made me cringe so much.  I mean, Charlotte is pretty bad on the mic, but at least she looks like she knows what's going on.  Eva was horrible.  The only thing that made it watchable was Bayley leaning forward to try to hear her, because the crowd was booing her so loudly.

Eva Marie has been wrestling since 2013, and she's still horrible.  When she debuted on the main roster (when they were introducing the cast of Total Divas), she said one sentence and it was the worst thing ever.  Eva, you only had one sentence and you couldn't even make it sound believable.

And when she challenged Bayley, she said "verse me" instead of "versus me." Eva, you've been in the business for two years, you should know by now that they say "versus me." "Verse me" doesn't even make any sense.  And it wasn't like she said "verseme" (as in, really fast).  She paused between the words.  Like, she had to have intentionally said it like that.

When she told Bayley they were having a match, she never explained why. (If they did the next week, feel free to let me know.  I only saw her and Bayley's match from that week, since I didn't watch the whole episode.) This probably isn't her fault, I think it's the people in charge.  They're shoving Eva down our throats, but no one likes her.  During her and Bayley's match, they chanted "you can't wrestle" which means that you must be pretty bad.  And when she came out, she got absolutely no reaction, which is bad.  It's one thing if you're booed (and a heel), but it's a completely other thing if the crowd does nothing.  It means they don't care.  The NXT crowd does not care about Eva Marie.

I'm pretty sure the only reason she signed to the WWE was so she could be on Total Divas.  Whenever that show ends, we can probably expect Eva to be gone, whether it's because she doesn't like wrestling, or because the WWE realizes how much we hate her.

So, basically, what I'm trying to say is this: If you're not even going to try to improve, don't expect me to cheer for you.  I've made it known that I don't like Nikki or Brie, but they have both improved in the ring a lot, and I will not discredit them for that.  I can see why they have fans and why people like them.  They've put in so much effort to improve and make themselves better, but Eva Marie has not.  She does not care about wrestling.

Eva Marie is eye candy and that is the only reason Vince McMahon hasn't fired her yet.  If she were a Superstar and was wrestling this badly, she'd have been fired a year ago.  Don't even try to argue with me, because we all know it's true.

So yeah.  Eva made me mad and I needed to rant about it.
