This is a short rant and isn't about 5sos exactly.  It sort of is, I guess.

((Please don't hate me if you're a 5sos fan.  Go away if you're mad.  Don't read this.))

So one thing 5sos fans love mentioning is that the band "finally got guitars and real instruments on the radio!!"

Um I don't know about you, but that's not true.

Before 5 Seconds of Summer, there was this really great band called Fall Out Boy.  Thnks Fr Th Mmrs and Sugar, We're Going Down have been played on the radio FOR YEARS.  There's also (recently) been My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark, Centuries, and Uma Thurman.

So when 5sos fans say that 5sos finally got actual instruments on the radio, are you just completely ignoring FOB or?

If it wasn't for One Direction, none of you would even know who 5sos was.  1D pretty much made 5sos famous.

Also, how many of you 5sos fans listened to Hey Violet when they were called Cherri Bomb?  Their music was great and I suggest you check it out.  I haven't listened to any of their stuff as Hey Violet, but I'm sure it's good too.

But yeah.  That randomly came to mind today and I wanted to talk about it.  I don't hate 5sos or anything.  I really like She Looks So Perfect and Don't Stop, so there's that.
