NOW LET ME TELL YOU WHY THAT'S BULLSHIT

I EVEN REMEMBER WATCHING SNOW QUEEN ON NETFLIX BEFORE THE TRAILER OF FROZEN CAME OUT.

AND 2

THE STORYLINES ARE VERY DIFFERENT.

FIRST LET'S START WITH FROZEN.

FROZEN TELLS HOW 2 SISTERS WERE CLOSER THAN ANYTHING IN THE WORLD. BUT ELSA'S POWERS GOT IN THE WAY.

AFTER THEIR PARENTS DIE I DON'T REMEMBER THEM MENTIONING THEM AGAIN FOR THE REST OF THE MOVIE.

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG PLEASE CUZ I HAVEN'T SEEN FROZEN IN AWHILE.

IT'S ABOUT HOW ANNA WANTS TO BRING SUMMER BACK. AND DURING THE WAY MEETS KRISTOFF
IDK HOW TO SPELL HIS NAME.

AND DURING THE JOURNEY SHE FALLS IN LOVE

BASICALLY

WHAT FROZEN SAYS TO ME IS THAT LOVE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING.

AND THAT TRUE LOVE CAN BE MORE THAN ROMANTIC.

I'M NOT COMPLAING ABOUT FROZEN

I LOVE THE MOVIE.

BUT IF YOU SAY SNOW QUEEN IS A RIP OFF OF IT

OH BOY YOU'RE GONNA SEE A SIDE OF ME YOU WISH YOU WOULD'VE NEVER SAW

NOW MY REASONING FOR SNOW QUEEN WILL BE LONGER BECAUSE IT HOLDS A MORE SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART.

AT THIS POINT I'M TOO LAZY TO TURN CAPS OFF SOZ......

SNOW QUEEN IS ABOUT HOW A YOUNG GIRL NAMED GERDA IS AN ORPHAN.

SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER ALOT ABOUT HER PARENTS OR A BABY BROTHER THAT SHE HAD.

ALL SHE REALLY REMEMBERS IS THAT SHE HAD A BABY BROTHER

From what I remember about a thing that I noticed ever since I was a kid.....

I always sensed a bit of incest in the beginning.... You know. Before Gerda and Kai found out they were siblings.

I remember a part where before Gerda went to see Kai again she used her mirror and fixed her hair a bit.

That part always made me wonder why she did that.

Maybe because Kai was a boy?

I don't really know

And for Kai's reason

He was painting Gerda before she met him.

I have 2 theories for this.

Maybe they did have small crushes on each other before they found out they were siblings?

Or

Maybe they felt a..... Sibling connection. Gerda did mention that she imagined that her younger brother would be like Kai.

Anyway.

The only male Gerda had travelled with was Orm. Who was a troll.

I wanna go into more depth into this.

Personality of the siblings:

Elsa:

I get why she was SUPER paranoid. She was scared to hurt people. But if you were to ask me, I believe that could've been avoided if her parents reacted a bit differently. Of course I'm blaming her parents either. I can see why they reacted that way. And I believe that there's a reason why. You see back when I used to watch Once Upon A Time. It said that there were 3 sisters. One with Ice powers. And the other 2 were normal. They found this out when a man almost tried to kidnap her 2 younger sisters.

And guess what. That sister was the Snow Queen. Of course the animated movie is VERY different.
If that is true I can understand why their parents reacted that way.

Because many years later. When they're all adults..... This happens.

o if this turns out to be true. Or at the very least semi-true like I said if this is true I can understand why their parents reacted that way.

It my opinion around the end of the movie it's Elsa's paranoia and anxity that take over her emotions which control her powers.

Anna:

I get--along with everyone else--why Anna was stubborn to Elsa. She didn't know. I honestly think at a certain point she wanted to help Elsa. Anna in my opinion tried to understand Elsa. But because she couldn't remember. And because her parents choose not to tell Anna.  I believe that Anna's heart was in the right place. She just.... Didn't know how to talk or act around her sister. Especially after she became queen.

Anna tended to look on the bright side of things. Like Gerda she tries her best not to lose hope. And to not forget what she's after.

I believe that both of their hearts were in a good place.

Now onto Snow Queen.

Gerda:

Unlike Anna and Elsa Gerda nor Kai can remember much about their parents. In the beginning of the movie when the parents die Gerda looks like she's 5 or 6. Meanwhile Kai is legit a baby.

Gerda even mentions that she can't really even remember her parents. She's kinda like Anna. Brave. Determined. And will do anything to save her brother.

What I notice about her was that during the scene where Gerda is hiding behind a curtain. She see's Kai talking to Orm. Orm says to just say that his sister died a long time ago.

Mentioning that to Kai that Vegard is his father. Gerda looks at the back of her mirror and see's the name Vegard carved into it. The thing I like about her character is that the second she realizes that Kai is her younger brother. She immediately takes action and says that she's not dead. The fact that she didn't hesitant to stand up is amazing. It takes me a minute or so to stand up for myself.

And she instantly takes action into trying to protect her brother. She did her best to try and not let him be kidnapped but failed. Even so she didn't give up there. She went through a ton of ups and downs. But never lost sight of saving her brother.

Even when she came face to face with the Snow Queen and was most likely terrified of her. She tried her best to not show her fear. Just like Anna she looks to the bright side of things. Or at least she tries her best to.

Gerda was originally just gonna save Kai. But after meeting all these people that were torn apart from the snow because of the Snow Queen. She had decided to take her down instead.

She even protected the Snow Queen/Irma even after all the horrible things she did.

Kai:

Kai never really came out much in Snow Queen. But I think he was very shy.

I think he tried his best to stay brave. Even though he knew he was the younger sibling. He also did his best to protect Gerda.

Even when he's fREAKING FREEZING TO DEATH BY THE SNOW QUEEN HE TRIES HIS BEST TO HIDE THE FACT THAT HE HAS A SIBLING.

He tries his best to not get Gerda involved or hurt. And even though he failed to. He did try his best.

Characters:

Frozen:

Kristoff:

Kristoff would do his best to make sure Anna was safe in my opinion.

In a way he kind of reminds me of Angelica from Hamilton. This line from Congratulations.

"I know my sister like I know my own mind! You will never find anyone as trusting or as kind! And a million years ago she said to me,"This one's mine......" So I stood by!"

If you switch it up in a way it kinda sounds like what Kristoff did.

He choose Anna's happiness over his. And I respect that.

Hans:

Fuck this guy.

He reminds me a bit of Orm but we'll go into that in a bit.

Snow Queen:

Now there's a bit more characters that played an important part of the movie.

Orm:

Even though he was the Snow Queen's slave. And at first was leading Gerda to doom. You can clearly tell how he grew to care about Gerda.

She treated him differently than the Snow Queen. Though Gerda didn't like him at first. That didn't mean she wasn't kind to him. She made sure Orm was okay and safe. She even gave him food at a certain point.

Plus Orm was never really bad to begin with. He was also full of fear like Elsa. And he was honestly scared to die.

But after he discovered that he truly cared about Gerda, he risked his life for her.

Irma/The Snow Queen:

Irma was born with special powers. But as everyone knows there's always those 10 people who don't accept anyone who acts like them.

So because of that she ended up becoming sad. And soon that saddness became anger. Until she made a wish in a special lake.

Her wish was quote on quote.

"Let all those who dislike me turn into ice."

And became the Snow Queen.

And now the final thing.

The differences in the theme:

Frozen tells us that Love can come from anywhere. You can love somebody in anyway. And that sometimes you must choose your family over the man/woman that youw love.

Snow Queen:

Snow Queen tells us how even if you're all alone. Even if all your family's dead. You can't forget that they are still watching over you. That they are still in your heart. That they are the reason why you still feel warmth in your heart. That just because you're alone outside. That doesn't mean you're alone on the inside.

I'm sorry I made such a big deal out of this.

I just had to get this off my chest.

I suggest that if you haven't watched Snow Queen. Please watch it. It is worth your time and I really love this movie. Thank you for listening to me.
