Wassup zero readers. I'm sick today. I feel so miserable, and basically, I wanted to complain about something. So, listen to me complain(no one).

Alright, I'm making myself depressed. Well, I guess I'll get deep. As a Wattpad person, I write stories. I mean, Wattpad is amazing. It is a platform for anyone to write anything, and share it with a bunch of internet strangers. That's insane. As a former silent reader who recently decided to start posting stuff, I look at the trending stories and am amazing by the loyalty of their fans. The instant those trending authors post a chapter, you can guarantee that within the hour at least 100 people will see it. 

And the best part is that none of the views on their chapters are under 1k. Like WHAT!!

That's the dream.

And then there's me and others like me. Like, I get 100 views on my first chapter, but then my the second chapter everyone disappears. 

What I'm saying is that it's really easy to get discouraged as a new writer. It feels like each time I post a chapter, I'm shouting my ideas in an endless pit. It is super easy to get jealous and compare yourself to other people. Have you seen the writing of some of the writers on the hot list? It goes from professional level writing to people writing at a second-grade level. Just because someone has a lot of fans doesn't automatically make them good. Some of the best stories I have read on Wattpad haven't even reached over 3,000 views, 1,000 of them from me lol. 

But what I have learned from being on Wattpad is that readers will come eventually. If you're a new Wattpad like me don't get discouraged, or worse become one of those writers that hold their chapters for ransom. 

Readers come with time. Not everyone can post a story and have 13k views per chapter. Post for you until you have someone to post for. Anyways, the meds I took are hitting me so I'm out.
