Grammatical Errors
I absolutely hate grammatical errors. They drive me nuts. Some people decide to write books on Wattpad and either:
1. Have no clue how to spell
2. Don't want to spell
3. Think that not spelling words correctly is considered cool.
4. Don't use spellcheck
This drives me nuts. On the first hand, spelling words incorrectly isn't cool! It's just idiotic! If you want to look like a total idiot, don't capitalize your I, when talking about the character (or yourself) in first person. Sure, spell you like u or your like ur or WORST OF ALL YOU'RE like ure. NO NO NO NO NO! This drives me insane!
This is why I hate this.
1. I'm part Slytherin, part Ravenclaw. #Slytherclaw. I've gotten both on Pottermore within the past year.
2. I'm a Horned Serpent.
3. In Divergent, my main faction is Erudite.
4. I hate grammatical errors almost as much as Hermione Granger.
If you are all of those things, you hate grammatical errors as much as I do.
As a result, all of these amazing writers write fanfics, poetry, science fiction, romance, fiction, and more on Wattpad; those books turn into my least favorite books within a matter of seconds while reading more than 10 grammatical errors per page. There's a difference between affect and effect! There's a difference between then and than. There's a huge difference between your and you're. These stupid people just don't seem to get it!
Worst of all, the difference between they're, there, and their is obvious but it kills me when people don't know this. Like it literally kills me!
There: use as a place
Their: possessive noun for they (plural 3rd person)
They're: they are. (It's a freaking verb)
URGH!!!!! I hate this SOOOOO MUCH! Why can't the just use proper grammar?!
