I hate school ok. Like I know, getting an education is great and shit, but that isn't even what school is about anymore. Our education system teaches us that getting good grades is the only thing that matters, and that's fucked up.

School shouldn't be about grades, it should be about learning. I strongly believe that how good your grades are, does not reflect how intelligent you are. There are so many people I know who get their good grades because they just copy everything from other people. And there are so many people who are incredibly intelligent, but fail their classes because they become too stressed out to do all the assignments getting assigned.

I am in no way saying grades aren't important, they are. If you work your ass of to get good grades that is an accomplishment, and good for you. But the way our grade is decided, is fucked up and pisses me off so much.

Everyone is different. In school you have a bunch of teenagers with different minds, interests, attention spans, ect. But school is made so that everyone is learning the same for everyone. You get the same lessons, the same teachers, the same homework, and that just how schools work.

Why should someone who is dedicated to becoming an artist, not be able to take an art class because they need to take fucking World History. Not even just that, some kids need to be taught things a certain way to really obtain the information. Some kids do well with powerpoints, some with videos, some with lectures. Again, everyone is different, and it infuriates me that our education system ignores that.

Learning should be fun. We should be learning what we want to learn, not being forced to learn things we know we are not going to be using later in life.

From the moment we get to kindergarten all we hear is study, study study, get good grades, go to college.

Well i say fuck that.
