As y'all know by know, I have been at college for a whole semester now and I thought I would just with you guys what WISDOM I HAVE OBTAINED

1) APPARENTLY MANY MEN DONT LIKE CHOKERS

I basically wear some form of choker daily now and for some rEASON THREE WHOLE ACTUAL HUMAN MALES THAT I WAS TALKING TO have commented on my chokers being like "why do you wear that"

I guess they dont understand that I dONT CARE???

LIKE SMH NEXT TIME U INSULT MY CHOCKER YOU'LL WISH YOU HAD A NECKLACE WRAPPED AROUND UR NECK INSTEAD OF THESE HANDS 

literally I was walking back from this thing with a group of guys and all the sudden 1 guy commented on my choker and then the rest of them were like "yeah! Don't like chokers!"

LIKE SORRY IF MY CHOICE OF JEWELRY DOESNT GET YOUR DICK HARD

2) Football games are fun but not THAT fun lol

When I went to college I was SO HYPE for football. I go to a Big Ten school so athletics are pretty big (even though my school is a joke when in comes to sports besides like volleyball and basketball lol)

( side note- just thought I would share that there's a 7'2 basketball player that comes into my work during my shift bc he has class, and every time he talks to me THE ONLY THING I can think about is how MASSIVE...his heart must be😊😊🍆😊)

But yeah games can be fun in the student section for a little but if you're like me and actually don't know what's going on, it can get boring really fast 

ALSO YOU'LL BE STANDING THE WHOLE TIME AND YOUR FEET WILL GET TIRED BUT YOU CAN'T BE THAT ONE ASSHOLE WHO'S STANDING

And then everyone leaves the 2nd half lol. 

honestly I just like watching the marching band lmao

3)Frat parties aren't as scary as you think!!

i'm not saying to put down your guard or anything, but if you put yourself into the right frats, parties can actually be a pretty safe situation

there are a few frats that people have stories about guys doing shitty things to girls, but please don't feel like you can't go to party with being made uncomfortable! 

stick with a good group of people you trust! Most frats (at least at my school) will have sober drivers to make sure you don't have to walk home at night and they assign a couple guys to stay sober to stop any situation that seems like it could be leading to sexual assault or anything like that!!

(House parties are a different situation tho be careful pls)

4) No one gives a shit if you're eating by yourself

Im so glad to be away from high school where people would think someone was a loser for sitting by themselves 

college schedules are weird like you're not always gonna line up with everyone's sceduele to eat every meal together and that's ok

in the least shitty was possible, no one gives a shit what you're doing in college lmao. Everyone is too concerned with themselves to look at you and think what you're doing or what you're wearing or some shit like that is "lame"

5)This is DEFINITELY something exclusively to me but i have realized THERE ARE SO MANY HOT GINGER BOYS ON THIS EARTH

I realize this is so random but before I went to college I literally felt like I've never seen a ginger guy who is hot, but for SOME REASON IVE NOTICEABLY BEEN SEEING SO MANY 10/10 GUY GINGERS ITS WEIRD

6)Time management is everything

I know this is true bc I am terrible with time management and I am suffering

I work a job where I can be on my laptop essentially the whole time and have a 6 1/2 shift where I could get a bunch of work done, but instead within that time I watch that's 70 show and YouTube videos shoot me

7)If you take later classes, you're not going to wake up until those classes start lol

Let me tell u ok, I have signed up for later classes expecting that on that day I'll wake up early and have time to get ready and shit... no honey

I have two days next semester where my classes don't start till 2:30, I know that I'll literally be sleeping till 1:30 U ain't gotta tell me

ALSO IF U LOVE YOURSELF AND HAVE OTHER OPTIONS BESIDES TAKING AN 8 AM CLASS, TAKE THE LATER CLASS. IDC THAT YOU WAKE UP AT 6:30AM IN HIGH SCHOOL. IT'S SO DIFFERENT, AVOID 8 AM CLASSES I AM BEGGING

8) People who say there isn't drama in college are liars

Lol, son.

If you're anything like me, you've been told that college is drama free fun

I HOPE U GUYS MANAGE TO HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE

But I have literally ALREADY found a friend group and left a friend group bc of drama within the first semester of college like LMK WHERE I SIGNED UP FOR THIS SHIT

9)The freshman 15 doesn't have to be a thing

Okay so I actually lost weight since college started?

At my moms house and my dads house there's not really ever anything good to eat and they aren't really people who cook that much, so I would end of having to eat shitty

My school has 5 dining courts all with a pretty good amount of options that change daily, it's been MUCH easier for me to find healthy things to eat at college than at home

Also there's a free gym

Not saying that's help with my weight loss since I went there a total of 3 times but uh... it's there!

10)J-walking is a constant thing

You will literally see people almost get hit by a car daily bc no one cares when the cross the street

I just cross the street and put my life in the hands of our lord and savior (Harry Styles)

Literally we all low key want to be hit by a car anyway. 

Like please hit me. Pay my tuition bitch

Please give me an excuse to miss my Psych exam

If u kill maybe my English teacher will give me an extension on my paper
