As you can tell by the title this rant is going to be about two things that totally relate to each other

5sos and Donald Trump!!!

I guess just to address the thing I know you guys probably expected me to rant about as soon as the bomb dropped, Donald Trump is our new president-elect :))))

And i decided to wait on posting this because when I heard the news I think this rant would have been very emotional, which is fine, but I tend to regret some of my 'in the moment emotional rants'

So here I am a few weeks later in the phase of my pain where I cope with humor!!! Hahah I'm drowning in Joe Biden memes to try to sooth the pain!!!

haha!

But anyway, I stayed up election night until Donald trump was officially announced president and then I low key cried myself to sleep (not like a sob but like gentle tears streaming down the cheek ya know) and then didn't go to class the next morning and stayed in bed all day bc I felt physically sick bc Donald trump lol

I don't want to go too much into this because I feel like everything that needed to be said has been said on every social media platform and you guys have probably heard it all.

BUT I was very active on my Facebook that night and basically I think this post sums it up

"God this post could potentially get a lot of hate, but what was the point of the last 8 years? It's so heartbreaking to think of the massive strides made in electing our country's first black president not once but twice, only for him to possibly be followed up by a racist, misogynistic, under-qualified bigot. This goes so far beyond political parties, this is about right and wrong. This is devastating."

surprisingly i got no hate on this post, just people agreeing with me which made me feel a little less like America is full of assholes

I GENUINELY believe donald trump will not be our leader for 4 years. I think something is going to cut i short but I don't know exactly what, but i really feel like he will be impeached.But either way, Mike Pence is just as bad so whatever.

but, it's been like 2 seconds and trump has already turned back on so many things he promised his supporters so maybe this won't be as damaging as at least i thought

(updated this paragraph bc the way i phrased it came across the wrong way okay bye ily) also, some people are terrified for the LGBTQ community losing their rights, but nothing like that is going to happen okay. donald trump has already said he's going to "protect the lgbtq" community and their rights, so in terms of government, the LGBTQ community shouldn't be afraid. who knows how he truly feels about gay marriage and gay rights in general, but he's not going to fight against it. but, holy shit i get why they're afraid of his supporters because a lot of trump supporters (not all don't comment "not all of them!!1!!1" bc i fucking know) have been attacking people bc of their sexual orientation or race which is fucking terrifying. and this shit has been happening forever but people are now doing it in the name of Trump??? like thats so scary??? I am not fully blaming trump for this because he's told people to stop doing this , but this is what happens when someone who is sexist, racist, and homophobic becomes president. some really stupid people think that bc he's president it's okay to act how he did/does now and that's so!!! fucking!!! scary!!!! I mean if the president acts like that and says things like that, why the fuck can't someone who's not the literal most iportant person in the USA act like that???

if I made this rant on election night it would be a 10 page rant saying how i hate 3rd party voters, trump voters, the electoral college, Mike Pence, how terrifying it is that Donald trump and his family did not look happy to win the election at all (i think the reality hit him that he's running the FUCKING COUNTRY), how upset i get when i think of the Obamas leaving the office, the fact that Hillary won the popular vote by now over 2 million votes, and the fact that being racist and sexist was not a deal breaker for 50% of the country when voting for the leader of our country

but since I'm obviously over it hahah I'm just going to leave it at that :))

i just left so many things unsaid but LOL MOVING ON TO SOMETHING SO DIFFERENT

Someone asked me about 5sos recently and my opinion on them because basically, I don't think I've brought them up since my Rolling Stones article rant??

which is fair question bc i used to literally say my goal in life was to like vomit on Ashton Irwins drums so

And basically, they aren't that relevant to my life anymore? Like that sounds harsh but I don't even mean it in a bad way. It kind of started when SGFG came out because I'll be honest, I genuinely dont really like any of the songs on that album.

They changed their sound and are able to write what they want to write now, and that is awesome, but it's just not for me anymore ya know?

like some of their songs are okay but there wasn't a song that I couldn't stop playing or would just loop on repeat except for Jet Black Heart for like a lil. I like a lot of the lyrics though just not the sound

for example, the lyrics of invisible are good but some of the guitar riffs literally sounded like music from the Sims 3 hahahaha like PLEASE go to 1:53 anD TELL ME THAT IS NOT SIMS 3

I dont really hear much about them anymore I don't really follow them on social media idk like I wish them well but they kind of changed into people both musically and just as people in general into something that I just don't associate myself with idk

But in case you're wondering, yes I would STILL gladly move into Harry's asshole because at this point I'm still so far up his rectum I might as well start paying rent

Even though he is literally off the grid and like doesn't exist anymore
