SHIPPING YOUR OC WITH A MAIN CHARACTER WHO IS ALREADY CANONICALLY IN LOVE WITH A DIFFERENT CHARACTER/ PEOPLE WHO SHIP THEIR OCS WITH OOC CHARACTERS.

First off

No hate, @Tsunami_Holmes . No hate at all. I love your art and your character Sunbeam. Please don't send your army to kill me.

But.

#QIBLIBEAM is silly. 

There, I said it.

Well, I mean #QIBLIBEAM is actually, honestly okay. I mean, I don't like it but freaking people make their OCS the daughter/son of flippin Glorybringer or Starspeaker and that triggers me a bit more.

But honestly, I don't like it when people ship their OCS with characters that are already taken/in love in the series. 

Another thing is that in your book, Secrets and Sand, Qibli is OOC. (Out of Character.)

So, the fact that he is distracted by Sunbeam kind of annoys me. Plus, he already has feeling for Moon and acts kind of aloof around her. That is the only dragon he's ever been distracted by and should be for the rest of time. 

Now, Qibli's rationality is super keen and sharp. He notices everything. If anything, he would notice that Sunbeam was crushing on him because he is super observant. Because of that and his backstory, he wouldn't let anyone distract him from his mind.  EXCEPT for Moonwatcher. 

So the fact that he falls for Sunbeam is a little unnerving. It's weird to see a character like him so aloof and distracted from his environment because of a dragon other than Moonwatcher. 

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Heck, I'm not innocent either. In the past, I had a NightWing OC that Starflight fell for. But it's just a bit weird.

Anyway, your art is amazing and you are one of my greatest idols, other than SaheltheSandWing.

Please don't kill me ;(

I wonder what would happen if Qibli was just extremely oblivious to Sunbeam liking him, and at one point she writes him a letter. He reads it but doesn't understand it, and just thinks of Sunbeam as a best friend.
