Stepmothers & Video Games #2

I actually never even thought I would have to make a part 2 of this.

But something she said to me earlier today just really irritated me.

So I'm in the middle of a round of Rocket League, playing with my younger cousin who lives at the other side of the country. I played with him almost the entire morning, then I had to get off to shower and dress and all that, worked on Wattpad for a bit, and then he called me up again asking to play, so I complied.

And then right in the middle of our game, my step-mother walks by me from coming inside through the back door and she says,

"Being productive I see...."

... I'm sorry, what?

I could sense that she was a little annoyed that for the last... week and a half, I've been inside playing video games and such all day.

But I don't really have a choice!

My friends I know for the most part are busy with their own stuff and work whenever I try to get in touch with them, one of my best friends just moved away for her university so we can't do our Transformers Prime marathon anymore, I can't chill with my boyfriend cause he has family responsibilities, and I can't hang out with her or my dad because they're at work all day.

So it's either video games, or nothing!

Now I could go outside right now and chill with you at the pool, but nope, I'm inside writing this rant right now -3-

Before all of this even happened, my dad walked by me, noticing I was playing a video game.

"You playing with Cole?"

"Yeah."

"Oh good."

And then he leaves.

You see? He gets me! He understands my love for video games!

So after the first thing, my step-mom tells me to keep an eye on the dog. Her paw is a little sore so she tends to limp. She usually just sits on the couch and naps all day, and she was on the cushion next to mine, so I let her be and let her take her 8 hour naps.

Only the thing is, this time around the dog was quiet like a ninja, because apparently as I was playing the game, she slipped off the couch, and stood at the back door wanting to go out to see my step-mom and my dad.

So another minute passes by and my step-mom opens the back door for the dog and then she tells me, "Way to keep an eye on the dog."

I had no idea what she was talking about, but when I sat up and saw the dog walking outside, I was instantly embarrassed.

News flash! I'm not perfect sometimes. Nobody is perfect, so we're going to lag a little bit.

Whenever one of my friends or my boyfriend give me a shout to go hang out with them, I will 100% jump at the chance to do that.

But until I can get in touch with them or vise versa, all I can really do to keep myself entertained is to stay at home and go on Wattpad or play video games.

Plain and simple.

END OF RANT!
