So you all know I have a book called, "Disney Facts!" on my profile, and it has grown increasingly popular over the course of about 2 years. 

Every once in a while, I get comments like "Are you sure this fact is true?" or "How do you know this, do you have proof?" or people just plain telling me, "Uh, this fact is wrong, it's actually (insert fact here)". 

That third option I get the most. Most of the time, it's no problem. I explain where I got the information from, why it is indeed correct, the person apologizes for the misunderstanding, and we go on with our day and everyone's happy! 

But sometimes, sometimes... 

There's that one comment that urks me a little bit. 

And of all the times for this to happen it was last night during my dad's birthday. Not fun -_-

I get a notification that I had received a comment on one of my older updates of the book.

The fact the person was highlighting on, was "Mickey Mouse was the first ever animated character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame." 

This was the person's comment, and I quote: 

"He wasn't the only one you know. Get your facts right at least." 

... Excuse me? 

More like excuse YOU! 

I am aware that there are other animated characters on the Walk of Fame, but that's NOT what the fact was explaining. Not by a long shot.

So I reply with;

"I NEVER said he was the only one, I said he was the FIRST to get it. Read the facts carefully and properly, please." 

I sent that reply and about a day later, she (and her attitude) get back to me.

"You can't tell me what to do, and I was reading properly. So, I am SORRY." 

Um... no! 

You were clearly not reading the fact properly if you assumed I said that he was the only one and not the first! 

And that attitude of hers? Seriously, she's acting like an immature little kid who doesn't like to be corrected. 

It turns out, according to her bio, she's in the 5th grade.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that below the required age for Wattpad? 

She needs to be taught proper manners and internet etiquette before she should even think about making another comment like that. 

So the next time someone out there is going to comment on something; READ THE FINE PRINT CAREFULLY AND PROPERLY PLEASE!!!
