Like Holy fucking shit it wasn't until freshman year that I learned that you didn't have to stand or say the pledge of allegiance if you don't agree with it

Like children 5 and up are taught to say the pledge of allegiance every single school day hand over hearts to the flag all in unison

Other countries mostly don't do that
