I... there's a trend of people using a "fat filter" to make themselves look fat then getting rid of it to boost themselves up because their thinner...

They're like
"My confidence went 📈📈📈📈"

It's..it's terribly  toxic...

On an app where there are CHILDREN

And impressionable teens

And what they are learning from taht trend is

"Bigger = bad"
"Thinner = good"

And what's worse is that the whole song for it is a song about loving plus sized women but people are using it to demean and degrade plus sized women..

The audio used to have videos of plus sized bodies promoting body positivity but now it's full of people just trying to boost their confidence being glad they aren't fat

It just... hurts

Especially when you've been told your whole life the only way you'll even be seen as pretty is if your thin (partly because your race is extremely fetishized fucking everywhere but no one cares because it's fucking normalized which is sick.)
