AT first, I don't even know why I made a revenge book

Sure, I have my reasons for reading and writing them, even when me and morbidempire almost debated about it.

But sometimes I'm not so sure.

People hate those books so much, that I feel insecure about reading and writing these books

It's pretty much the reason why I haven't updated it. I guess you could say I slightly lost my motivation.

But, As I read more I kinda realize why I loved them.

Lucy is strong, it's just that most people doesn't see that. They obsess on strong characters, forgetting the reality that we never all started strong. What I love about it, is that we become the stepping stone for this blonde mage to the strong we want her to. To finally be the one to prove herself. She wouldn't need protection, because we made her strong enough to protect herself.

It's just that, I fell inlove with the books sense of perspective. How Lucy would react to betrayal and sadness of being forgotten. It's probably I can relate to this, and the other people can are also writing and reading more books like this. For me, the plot is interesting. There are hundreds of books like this, but that's actually a good thing. We get different versions of how the FT characters would live in a world where Lucy leaves. The stories might be the same, but not exactly the same. Nothing can be exactly the same unless copy pasted.

It makes me remember when I started to write STIS.

At first, I wanted to be an all-out badass book on Lucy's revenge. But then somehow it changed. In my mind was a whole story and adventure, running around. Pretty much my motives for that story changed. Instead of going all out badass, I wanted my version of the Revenge books to have a story or a whole plot. I guess my only complaint on these books is that most books just focus on Lucy becoming strong. No adventure, No motives. Just plain revenge.

Those haters aren't all wrong though. They are flaws on how most books are written. But it's not the idea that's wrong. I guess sometimes it's just the writer. Not that I'm a good writer myself. In the end, we make the lovers, and the haters. We are the ones who choose what we write after all.
