THE PAIN I'M IN
As of late, I've been participating in gym class for the first time in 5 years. Now because of this fact, I am very out-of-shape but I've been able to push through the pain. There is only one pain I can't push through: shin splits. If you don't know what that is, it's when your shin get injured due to running without proper stretching and/or running on pavement too much. I have had terrible shin splits for the past 3 weeks. And today was the first day I sat out. You'd think by now I'd be really proud of myself and feel really accomplished. Nope. I feel like shit because everything from my knee to my ankle on both legs hurts whenever I move. Even the tiniest shift and it feels like you're dislocating my joints and snapping my shin in half. Thank everything for the weekend, I don't know how much more of this I can take.
Plus frequent anxiety attacks, a lack of sleep, and suddenly worse headaches aren't exactly helping. But I'm fucking pushing through. I don't get nearly enough credit for this.
And now I'm crying again. Thanks so fucking much anxiety.
