How do I put this? Erm...

My guy best friend (I wanna call him gay best friend cause of inside yolks) Kid likes me, or so I think. He's my reasons:

Well, first of all is the fact that he hasn't had a girlfriend ever since we started talking more. And this guy only goes like, a few weeks before he gets himself a new girlfriend. Also, we have a very crucial fact. You see, Kid has a problem with people touching him. Fair enough, right? Well, he has made it very clear that he, and I quote, "I don't mind you touching me." HE DOESN'T EVEN HUG HIS GIRLFRIENDS! Like da fuck dude. But, as if that isn't enough, he shows off ONLY WHEN HE KNOWS I'M LOOKING! Kid just stahp. Then you have the fact that he'll say something stupid just so we'll start a conversation. Like the other day he tried to pull the whole "Why are girls looked down upon?" Then when I explained it, he said "no, that's not it." Kid~ Your stupid is showing~! He's extremely smart too, so it's not that he doesn't know. He's doing it to hear me talk. He always slips up and says really sexual jokes too. Like, one day he said "I'm going to sue you and own you." Me and my friend absolutely flipped at him and he said "what? It's a business term." DO NOT pull that shit on me! I'm not that stupid. Next, we have the fact that he'll randomly compliment me. The only relevant time has been when I got my hair cut and he said "your haircut looks nice." He's also very protective of his ego when I'm around. Like when people make jokes about him being with Miranda he completely flips and tries to prove them wrong. But he'll only do it when I'm in earshot. He also will randomly text me a picture just so we'll start a conversation. That is until my phone decides to hate him again and stops sending him my texts. Or I just stop getting his. And this only happens with Kid, might I add. But yeah, there's my reasons.

Now let me point out, this may just be my paranoia caused by years of my parents teasing me about my guy friends, but these can't all be coincident. Right?

Ooh, I completely forgot to tell you about the time he said he was trying to catch a girlfriend with his string he had. Then Miranda forced him to give us all hugs and only when he hugged me did he try to wrap the rope around ME. I'M NOT EVEN PRETTY! WHAT COULD HE BE SEEING IN ME IF HE LIKES ME! He's also said he thinks "it was obvious" that I'm not a bitch. Please dude, I've been a bitch to you. Don't fucking lie to me.

But yeah. Any help? Advice? SOMETHING?!
