Sanders Sides
Ok. So big theory that has been in the back of my mind for a while now and I need to get it off my chest.
The 'light' and 'dark' sides are complemented by the colors and things they represent.
You know about how all colors have their complementary colors. ( If you don't you should take an art class). But basically what those are is they are basically the opposites of a certain color so the compliment each other. Well, after Remus popped up, it got me thinking. Red and green are complementary colors, and Remus and Roman are kinda opposites.
But that's as far as my complementary colors theory goes. But, it doesn't just end there. The three primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. And since red is already used that leaves blue and yellow. And while that may seem like I'm grasping at straws for this one, many fashion and interior designers agree that the colors blue and yellow complement each other well. With that In mind... So far Deceit has only copied Logan and Patton, which are both shades of blue, and Deceit is yellow. And lies are the opposite of the truth, which are facts and facts= logic, so Logan. And it's wrong to lie because it goes against morality, so Patton.
But that brings up the question, What about Virgil? Back when he was a 'dark side' he was black, then when he became a 'light side', he became purple. So, does that mean that there was a white 'light side' that became an orange 'dark side'? This got me thinking, what is something that is the opposite of Anxiety (or something that goes against it/ or the darker side of it)? And I think I figured it out... Ignorance. It fits perfectly. As a child with anxiety, Thomas must have had something to curb that overwhelming fear. And that is what Ignorance is. Ignorance is present in everyone. And the episode where Anxiety becomes is finally recognized as a part of him is called 'Accepting Anxiety'. Acceptance is the opposite of Ignorance. As children, we all ignore our problems because that makes us believe that they will go away, which is why Ignorance would have been such an important part of Thomas' childhood. Especially because he came out as gay in such a late part in his life. Ignorance being such a prominent character in Thomas' personality would have caused that. But as Thomas grew older, he would begin to accept things about himself that he used to ignore, and eventually, as Anxiety gained more control, Ignorance would become more and more forgotten. He would eventually be seen as bad and would complete his transformation into a 'dark side'. As a 'light side' with such strong ties to his early innocent childhood, and a strong pull over Thomas' personality, I think that the color white would have suited him well. But as he grew less important, he became less important and joined the other sides in the rainbow as a fellow, he also grew to be seen as a negative thing so orange- the negative associations of this color include immaturity and deprivation/ both of which he is currently going through/ representing- would be the perfect color for him.
Anyway, none of this is proven, its all just my personal thoughts on the matter and my understanding of the sanders sides and how I view them. You do not have to agree with me on any of it- I just thought it made sense- and you are all entitled to your own opinion. If you have
So...
Have a perfectly normal day,
