--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

12. More Kicks - Long Day's Journey Into Night...Life. Pretty simple, I'm not a big fan of it. Of course, the ending has this 50s rock 'n roll section that actually goes on quite a bit.. It's fine.

11. Journey's End. Sounds kinda space, techno vibes. The lyric that sticks out the most to me is, "the curtain falls, but who knows when?" I don't have that much else to say about it. Not one I really like, it's long and a bit boring in my opinion. I like complex melodies.

10. Gangsters Are Running This World - Purple Version. This kind of sounds like Fun It. Not sure why it's called purple version. I know it's different words and melody, and Sarina sang(?) some backing vocals. This sounds very 80s/90s to me, like a montage music song. When Roger says "Gangsters" it sounds like a train. Workout music??

9. The Clapping Song. Apparently there's a vintage drum kit used on this track. It's an interesting cover, the only difference in it being that he says, "Peace in America, peace in the world." Roger's voice on this suits the music.

8. Foreign Sand - English Mix. This sounds like several melodies to me, but I can't place my finger on just one. Kind of folk inspired, seems like. His voice is high and gentle in this song, which is always nice. Maybe another peace song? Which wouldn't surprise me. One of my favorite lines is, "why do we dread what we don't really know?"

7. I Know I Know I Know. This one is nice, gentle and slower. I think his voice is pleasant on this as well, there's some sort of xylophone or something in the beginning.

6. Absolutely Anything. Sounds kind of like a love song at first, you know, 'I'll give you anything I can' but then it switches, but not in a revenge kind of way. It's more, I'll give you freedom, even when you don't care for me but I did for you. Every time I hear the line, "All there for me and you," it gets me, because it's almost strained sounding? But on purpose?

5. Tides. Very poetic, to me, at least. It's pretty good, nice lyrics. Although, I find it almost ironic (?) When the line goes, "one day must die," and it's not a minor chord, it's major. I think it's really nice and gentle. Love the singing in it. Beautiful track, I think there's waves crashing on this track and another.

4. Gangsters Are Running This World. Another track in which I really love the lyrics, because they're deep, but with a touch of relatable emotions. Something everyone feels. Some of the piano and guitar sounds like the same stuff on "We're All Just Trying To Get By" , but I won't blame him for that. They're not his top instruments, not piano, at least. The ending is a different melody, which is nice.

3. Isolation. It was of course written last year, but still works this year, oddly enough. The lyrics are about how it's a strange time to live in, how we're all the same, making it through isolation no matter what position we're in - no matter if we're a child or adult or otherwise. And that we'll think anew when it's all over.

2. Outsider. It starts off very major chords, then goes minor when you don't expect it to (gets me every time so far!). I'm a fan of the lyrics, though. Somewhat positive/optimistic. I think there's a kind of message of, "look at both sides, you never know what someone's going through." The ending doesn't resolve, which bothers me in a way. It sounds incomplete. Not even a 6(th) chord. (i.e, G6)

1. We're All Just Trying To Get By. I love the lyrics to it, it's about nature and people, to put it simply. You know, "all the fishes and crustaceans/jungle plants expecting rain" and stuff like that. But the message is very relatable and honest. It's very pop sounding, which is fine. I like the rhythm (a clave?) And when Roger's voice goes soft after the second verse. Oh, and of course, the slide guitar solo.
