Queen - News Of The World
The 1977 album that had two songs become sports anthems. A pretty good album, I have this CD as well.

Again, I don't believe these are bad , I just prefer to listen to some more than others.
11/ Get Down, Make Love. I know other people like this more than I do, but something about it doesn't catch my full interest. Every time I read that title though, I get the chorus in my head on repeat.
10/ We Are The Champions. This one is also well known, but again, for the chorus, not so much for the words in the verses. I like the verses, accompanied by piano, it sounds very good together. Confusing timing; it doesn't change tempos, only key signatures.
9/ Fight From The Inside. Not to dislike Roger, but this and the other are just not my style. Roger's singing is great on this, suits his voice.
8/Sheer Heart Attack. A good punk-rock song, very high energy. I like it, but again, you have to be in a certain mood to listen to this one.
7/ It's Late. A bit long, and very loud by the chorus. But the chorus is catchy, the lyrics are good. I do like the electric guitar throughout the song. Kinda slow at first. Again, several meanings in one song.
6/ Sleeping on The Sidewalk. I do like how this one tells a full story and ends in a different way than you'd expect. It's got a classic, (12-bar?) Blues rhythm and I do like the guitar solo. Slightly repetitive.
5/ We Will Rock You. Catchy, involves audience participation. It's very popular, though; one of the ones everyone knows. It's more well known for the chorus and stomp-stomp-clap pattern, rather than the lyrics. I like the vocals.
4/ Spread Your Wings. Gentle at first, it's another one that tells a story of a young boy. While I like the melody of the chorus, and the chords, it's not at the top of my list. I love the chords. It even has a same chord change as in "The Show Must Go On."
3/ All Dead, All Dead. A sadder song, but I like sad songs. It is a lot quieter than some of the others. Doesn't make it any less, the verse isn't as catchy to me. Also, the guitar is mimicking a pipe organ as if it's a funeral, and that really portrays the sad and melancholy feeling.
2/ Who Needs You. John wrote some pretty good songs, and I especially like the Spanish-style guitar throughout the song. A good beat. I do like the harmonies and the chorus. I love the maracas. (Great sounding maracas!) Does Roger play anything on this song??
1/ My Melancholy Blues. My favourite song on the album, the vocals are just so smooth, and it's very jazzy. One of my favorite parts is when the other instruments join in, especially the bass. The lyrics are great, sad but in a different fashion.
That's all of the songs on here, excluding the We Will Rock You remix by Rick Rubin. Leave comments if you want on how you like the songs.
