Dedicated to all the Kaya lovers. This is a little insight into Kaya's life after becoming a princess. This chapter was supposed to be small but ended being one of the longest with 5K words. Hope you guys enjoy it.

When the sun hit the horizon, leaves fell down the trees. A wave of sweat laced everyone in its blanket making the heat peak at its top shore.

Summer was always beautiful but with heavy jewelleries and long court sessions it was tiring for Tanirika. Ascending down the stairs she walked towards the end of the passage where her mother-in-law waited for her.

The attendee announced her arrival the moment he felt her presence in the corridor. Saya smiled softly at Tanirika who appeared tired at the first glance. Her gaze fell on the number of jewels lying carelessly around the gigantic chambers of the Princess of Rakshatra, Princess Kaya. Kaya turned around timidly her eyes falling on her bhabhisa who giggled knowing what went down there.

"Bhabhisa" Kaya whined shaking her head in embarrassment. Saya smiled at her daughter who was done with everything around her.

"Princess, I think you are in trouble. " Tanirika giggled picking one of the jewellery boxes in her hands, she picked the heavy beaded necklace in her bare hands praising the finite work done on the gold ornament, she walked towards Kaya.

Tanirika removed the veil around Kaya, placing it on the sofa beside them, she carefully moved kaya's long braid past her back towards her chest. She picked the golden heavy necklace and tied it securely around kaya's neck smiling softly at her mother-in-law who looked at them with adoration filled orbs.

"You look like a queen, more like queen of Persia. Right maasa?" Tanirika teased making kaya's cheeks turned red in embarrassment. Saya laughed at her daughter who hid her face from both the women who laughed at her.

Her little love affair with the King of Persia was famous in the whole kingdom. More like everyone knew that the princess of Rakshatra belonged to Persia.

"Kaya," Neera came running inside the chambers making Kaya sigh in content. Neera always saved her. She laughed picking her veil and moving past her sister-in-law who gasped in shock as Kaya ran like an ostrich away from the room.

"This girl, kaya" Saya called her daughter frowning at her daughter's behaviour. She had told her daughter numerous times that she was no longer a common village girl, she was The princess of Rakshatra, the only princess. And soon to be the Queen of Persia. Her running around like a careless woman around the walls of Rakshatra was unlady behavior.

Kaya rushed towards the western wing where her most go through brother lived in.  Neera laughed looking at kaya who banged the door harshly like a little girl.

"You are so childish these days. Did a letter arrive?" She teased Kaya who blushed rolling her eyes in silence.

"I am just enjoying being pampered by everyone. Let me be happy " She bumped her shoulder with her best friend who bumped back making both of them giggle in return.

"Why is he not opening the door?" Kaya groaned stomping her feet like a kid. Neera banged the door continously helping kaya in return. 

"He's going to be pissed when he comes outside I bet he's cuddling with his wife" Neera ranted laughing silently with Kaya who banged more.

The door burst open with a harsh sound clanking on the walls making Kaya and neera jump back in fear. A annoyed Meglos appeared behind the doors who rolled his eyes looking at two nuisance in his life.

"Meglos bhaisa" Kaya sang in the melodius voice mocking the interrupt she caused. His disheveled hair, hooded eyes clearly hinted that he was sleeping this late.

It was not hidden from both Kaya and Neera why was he sleeping till late. Afterall he was newly married.

"What do you want Queen of Annoyance?" He folded his arms on his chest looking lazily at the two girls who giggled holding hands.

"Lets go to the market. There's a fabric fair in the market today" Kaya said moving inside the chambers pushing meglos's out of the way.  He groaned pushing his hair back as he followed the two women inside his chambers.

His lower hung low on his waist, sweat dropping down his beautiful chiseled back which was on naked display shining gloomingly under the sun rays.

"Lekha bhabhisaaaaa"  The girls sang running inside the room, their laughter and sounds of anklets giggling like best friends. Lekha jumped in fright lying on the bed, curtains draped around the bed keeping her away from the eyes of the two girls. Kaya circled the bed from the left side while neera did it from the right side pushing the curtains away both of them climbed high on the mattress giggling at the blushing lekha who dipped herself dip into the comforter.

The long sleeves of the white kurta peeked from the comforter, The sleeves appearing too big on her little frame indicating it belonged to her husband. Lekha smiled hesitatingly at both the girls who giggled nodding at each other.

"Princess Kaya, Neera good morning what brings you both here?" She muttered in a low voice the red hint on her cheeks clearly indicating she was embarrassed.

"Sorry to disturb you bhabhisa but we need your husband to accompany us to the market!" Kaya screamed in pain when she felt a scrutinizing pain in her head. Meglos pulled her long braid teasingly making her clutch her head in pain.

"And her husband isn't accompanying you! Get out of my room. You little annoying princess. " He muttered still holding the braid in his hand. Lekha looked at her husband and Kaya who tried getting away from his hold. Once she was successful she threw a pillow right on his face before getting into the comforter hugging lekha for her dear life.

"Get away Kaya, come here. " Meglos ordered getting on the bed ready to pull the woman out. But stopped when his wife giggled with the other two woman ganging up on him. He narrowed his eyes at the women, his hands on his waist knees digged into the mattress.

"You are behaving like a kid" Lekha called her husband out who glared making her glare back at him.

"Lekha bhabhisa please tell your husband to accompany us and you should come with us too. " kaya said angling her face properly on lekha's chest. She pouted her lips like a little baby who wanted her mother' attention.

Lekha sighed looking at her husband who shook his head indicating he won't go. She pleaded with his eyes making him roll his eyes in return.

"Kaya last time we went outside like this Zravasaya was ready to drown me into the river. Because you went missing. I am not taking the risk. I worry about my future. "  Meglos said sitting at the end  of the bed, kaya turned slowly facing meglos who looked very firm on his decision. She pouted sitting on the  bed and looking around deep in  her thoughts.

Lekha placed her hand on kaya's hand making her look at lekha who melted instantly looking at Kaya's gloomy face.

"Princess kaya, what is so important in the market. We can send someone else to get you the required things. Your bhaisa is right we almost lost you last month. You visited the market  twice since you came to Rakshatra and both the times you got caught in something. " lekha tried to make kaya understand the situation. Kaya being the only princess of Rakhshatra was the most pampered person in the whole palace. Zravasaya kept her his first priority.

He had built a whole garden of daisies for the love he possessed for his sister. If kaya got one scratch Zravasaya could get the whole palace burnt into grounds. And everyone knew it. 

Kaya shook her head like a stubborn child making meglos groan. She was the female version of him. Both of them were stubborn.

"Kaya! Stop acting like a child. Go ask Zravasaya"

"Ask Bhaisa! He will never allow me!" She said banging the pillow on the bed like a kid.

"Then how do you propose your idea of going out in the market? What do you even want?" He asked Kaya and neera who shared a look before holding one of his hands in hers. She smiled softly coaxing him into her manipulation.

Meglos pulled his hand back clearly understanding the mischief behind those eyes.

"I want to buy the new fabrics from the market, there's a fair today. " She gushed smiling dreamily at the couple who smiled looking at her love for embroidery. They all knew Kaya was an excellent seamstress. And her love for fabrics and jewels was one that  could make one die for.

"We could call the best vendors into the palace and get you, your favorite fabrics. " meglos suggested wriggling his eyes brows at lekha who nodded agreeing to the proposal.

"No!!! Last time when we called them in the palace they brought the most expensive  fabrics to earn more money. But sometimes cheapest are more beautiful and strong compared to the cheapest one. I want to shop like a normal person. Please meglos bhaisa " She whispered fluttering  her eyes at her brother who rolled his eyes.

He had a weak spot for this woman. Afterall she was the closet thing he experienced as a sister. And kaya' sunshine personality was more of the reason to fulfill her every wish.

"Kaya try to understand-"

"No if you don't take me to the market I will tell palasha maasa that you lied having a headache the previous night and this morning and declined her proposition to accompany her to the the temple situated in the outskirts of the kingdom to spent some time with your wife. You betrayed your mother now take my side or else I will betray you" she challenged him making Neera laugh. Meglos looked at kaya in horror as he was caught in his lie.

How did this woman get to know about this. He did not tell anyone.

"How do you know about this?" He asked Kaya who smiled lying back on the bed near lekha who was trying to hide her smile. She loved watching her husband get all embarrassed. It was so fun.

"Everyone knows this, by everyone I mean Bhaisa and Tanirika bhabhisa. Everyone knows your lieing personality. So stop acting like a Saint who's scared of bhaisa and man up and take me to the fair. We can take bhabhisa too. " She said like a princess order lacing hard in her tone. Meglos rolled his eyes clearly being done with this proposal.

What a mess this was. He got from his bed walking away from the women who stared at him.

"Bhaisa! Where are you going ?" Kaya called.

"Get ready and meet me near the apple orchards we will leave from the back door and note this in your head we have only 3 hours because zravasaya will be busy in one of his meetings. "

The three women giggled hugging each other delighted  over visiting the market.

Zravasaya moved out of the meeting room tired with all the hearings and chaos happened in the meeting. Being a king was hectic and sometimes too tiring. His head ached making him sigh in pain. Rubbing his fingers on his forehead he strolled in the silent hallways of the palace of Rakshatra.

Barkings resonating from the eastern garden caught his ears which made him halt in his steps. His eyes fell on jugnu who was busy in humping jugni, the dog he specially got imported from Macedonia. Jugnu being the horniest creature in the whole palace was always on hot trail of his lover. That's what Tanirika loved to call them.

According to her they were lovers. Jugnu and Jugni lovers to the moon and back.

At this pace there will be soon little pups running around the palace.  Before him jugnu will be having kids in this world.

He believed there's no rush in having kids with tanirika right now. Zravasaya and Tanirika never talked about kids. And they knew to have one they need to plan it. But they were no in hurry for kids. This time was precious for both of them in this time span of getting married they had spent 10 months away from each other. Though their  marriage completed 16 months last month but in reality they have been together for only 6 months.

And Zravasaya didnt want to have a baby in this 6 months no matter who pressured him. With him finding his mother and sister it was necessary that he gave his attention to them too. Which was resulting in cutting his time  with Tanirika short.

But his Woman never complained. She was always considerate about his relationships and responsibilities. Maybe that was the reason his sister was closer to her than him.

He was walking towards kaya's chambers to check on her. At this time of hour, which was afternoon she was usually asleep with thousands of fabrics running around her chambers. His sister has an obsession with stitching. And he knew she was stitching a shawl formum, the more she tried to hid it from him the more it got clear to him.

I have heard her and Tanirika whisper  about it.

I was about to walk in kaya's chambers but was stopped by a sound of Tanirika calling me. Turning around I faced my wife who was out of breathe hot on my trail.

"What's wrong ?" I asked her walking towards her. She shook her head in denial clutching my hand in her sweaty ones and dragging me to our chambers.

"Tani!! What are you doing ?" He asked her stumbling on the path she was dragging him into.

She pulled him in their chambers like his whole body weight didn't affect him. The strength the little woman possessed was amazing. Zravasaya's royal embroidered shawl slipped down his chest falling like an ragged unused material. She pushed him down on the bed with a thud once he neared the bed.

Rubbing her hands together, she sighed cupping her chest Before looking at her husband who looked flabbergasted with her actions.

"You are behaving weirdly, very weirdly" he stated getting up but was only pushed down by his wife. Zravsaya tried to get up back but failed when he saw tanirika picking her skirt up a little and climbing at top of him. She looked like a queen conquering her territory.

She sat straight on his abdomen that too with a little more force making me groan in pain.

"I just had lunch, you woman" He groaned lying helplessly on the bed.

"I don't care!" She huffed folding her hands on her chest. Her boobs pushed up the hold of her blouse unknowingly making his eyes travel there.

"What do you want?" He asked her shaking the unholy thoughts he was getting. This woman could exist and he would be aroused.

"Your sole attention! You are a good king. A good brother. A good son. A good friend BUT A BAD HUSBAND" She slammed her fists on his chest pinning him down on the bed with her hard glare. Zravasaya laid like a wriggling fish under his wife who was pretty mad at him.

"And why is that?" He whispered staring deep into her angry orbs. Tanirika rolled her eyes in annoyance slamming her lips straight with his rough ones, dominating the king of Rakhstara she poured in the explanation of why he was a bad husband.

Zravasaya groaned feeling her hand travel travel down his southern region making him aroused in the next second. He deepened the kiss allowing her to control him and this wild session which she gradually did. By making him submit to her ruling his senses like the owner of his heart she was.

Tanirika trailed her lips down his body kissing the valley of his neck and chest working ruthlessly on his God like posture. He hissed in pain when she bit him in the lowest region of his stomach.

Her lips curved into a smile when she heard him hissing in return. She licked the hickey she left on his body like a work of art.

"You are the pain in my life" He whispered pulling her veil out of her body and throwing it in a random corner. She smirked sitting on her knees squeezing her breasts, teasing him till death.

"You little seductress" He glared making her chuckle in return. Zravasaya picked her up from her waist and threw her on the bed hovering his huge frame on her little one.

"Can't you wait till night?" He asked her kissing her neck slowly. She laughed clasping her legs on his back choking him in her hold.

"Can you?" She said cupping his manhood with one of her hands making him throw his head in anticipation.

Zravasaya gave in the puddle of lust and they ended up in making love in the broad daylight. Afternoon turned into evening as their carnal desires overpowered the surroundings and time.

Zravasaya laid flat out of his breathe on the bed with tanirika in his hold. She smiled hideously staring at a random object making him smile in return.

"What is it?" He asked her lovingly caressing her tangled hair. She chuckled laying her naked breasts on his naked chest, squeezing them between their naked skins she kissed me right on the mouth laughing silently.

"You are so easy to distract! But only I can can that. Not that I am complaining I loved this afternoon but I am so proud of myself. " She giggled getting away from him, searching for her clothes. Zravasaya raked his hand on his face not understanding understanding she muttering.

"Speak clearly, Tanirika and where are you going?come back to bed" He ordered looking at his wife who was busy in tying the strings of her skirt. She rolled her eyes at his order laughing silently.

She appeared too proud of something.

"No! I won't I have important matters to attend. " She said braiding her hair properly.

"Says the woman who was complaining I am a bad husband. Now who's behaving like a bad wife?" He complained sitting on the bed. She laughed cupping her cheek.

Adjusting her veil she walked like a siren towards him who smiled when she cupped his cheek into her soft hands.

"My love, you are not a bad husband. You are the best husband one could wish for " his smiled widened hearing those words come out of her mouth. But his happiness was short lived.

"A good husband who can't resist his wife and gets easily distracted. " she giggled pressed her lips on his. Zravasaya frowned looking at his wife.

"Distracted from what?"

"From the fact that your sister went to the market today and is back now and I made you entertain me to keep you away from her " She laughed looking at his shocked expression which soon turned sour making her laugh harder.

"Kaya!" He shouted making laugh harder as she ran away from the chambers.

Kaya who was back from her little trip jumped in her place when her brother's thunderous voice hit her ears. Meglos who was standing beside her looked scared for his life making lekha giggle which was soon followed by neera.

Tanirika entered kaya's chambers running straight into the mess of fabrics lying in the room.  Behind her a very angry Zravasaya entered whose expressions could cut the two culprits into two pieces.

Meglos coughed like a scared kitten running towards tanirika and hiding behind her who laughed in return.

Kaya smiled nervously at her brother who stood like a mountain of chaos in the room.

"There's a elephant in the room!" She muttered looking around.

"And that elephant is you!" Her brother fired  making her snap her eyes at him.

"You called me an elephant?"

"I did not say that. Your proverb's elephant is you. " he cleared making her roll her eyes at him.

"Kaya be respectful! I am your big brother. "

"Big by only 10 minutes. That dont even count. " she sassed picking various fabrics and examining them.

"So pretty!!! These dhol designs are so pretty, jijisa" Tanirika gushed trying to ignore her husband who pulled her back before she could touch a cloth.

Tanirika stumbled crashing her back to her husband's chest who glared at her. She hit her elbow in his stomach making him hiss in pain.

"She's the princess of this palace and as a woman under my WING, the queen. And I give her every right to explore the kingdom you can't force her not to do that" She put forth her point in the most clear way making her husband caught in her shackles.

Zravasaya knew he can never fight with his wife. She always had the best point to prove.  He sighed rubbing his forehead looking around the room.

"I expect you to tell me when you go out next time. Or ask me to accompany you atleast. I am glad you are back safely though. That's all I want to say to all of you. " He said looking at all of them with a blank stare. Meglos who was trying to peek at him lowered his eyes immediately when it clashed with his friend.

Zravasaya moved out his sister's chambers leaving all the people who conspired against him behind with worried expression.

"Is he mad at me?" Kaya asked in a crying voice, her eyes glistening with tears. She looked at her sister-in-law who bit her lip shaking her head.

"I took the whole responsibility of  your brother i will talk to him. Do not worry jijisa" Tanirika assured kaya who was ready to burst into tears. Tanirika signaled lekha to look after Kaya as she ran after her husband. 

Tanirika found Zravasaya near kaya's favorite lake gazing at the setting sun. She sighed feeling worried as guilt settled in her stomach. Did they went too far?

"Vasaya, I am sorry. " She whispered silently walking towards her husband. She stood behind him at a comfortable distance fiddling with her fingers.

"I am not mad at anyone, Tanirika" He said standing frozen on his place. Tanirika sighed walking beside him, holding his hand she tugged him towards her who smiled sadly cupping her cheek and shaking his head.

"I am really not mad at anyone, trust me" He said smiling at her.

"I feel bad now, I am sorry for this afternoon. Jijisa took my  permission and last time I know she got lost but we need to allow her live her life freely. As a princess I understand what she feels and I don't want anyone to hold her back from living her life." She reasoned trying to put her side to him.

"She's going to leave us soon, she will travel to Persia the kingdom which is far away from us. Maybe once in 3 years I will have the pleasure to see my sister. And I am sad that my restrictions made her feel the need to hid things from me. I want her to be comfortable with me Tanirika" He emptied his heart out with all the vulnerabilities he held infront of his wife.

The only person he trusted.

"You do not make me feel like that bhaisa"  Kaya who had just entered the garden said her eyes brimming with tears. She walked hurriedly towards her brother crying all her way to him. She did not think her stupid act would make her brother feel bad.

"Kaya" Zravasaya felt his heart aching looking at the tears falling down her face. He moved towards his sister who flunged her arms around her brother hugging him tightly.

Zravasaya and Kaya had the twin connection since they met. There was a invisible string between them which always tied them together.

"I am so sorry " She cried hugging her brother tightly.

"Kaya, stop crying please stop crying baby sister. I can't see you crying. I am not mad at anyone my love " He tried assuring her but in return she kept crying.

"Jijisa please don't cry. " Tanirika said rubbing her back trying to calm her hiccups.

"I can't I am so sorry. I- I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to have some fun and I didn't know my mischief will hurt you. I wont marry anyone I won't go anywhere. I will always stay with you bhaisa. Please don't be sad because of me" She hiccups down wiping her tears off. Zravasaya shook his head tapping his sister's forehead twice.

"Stupid girl stop this madness. My only complain was that you didn't felt comfortable by sharing your problem with me. But now I got it that you knowingly planned this to get me all worked up you did this. Meglos has the perfect name for you Queen of Annoyance. " He said pulling her braid lightly making her groan in pain. She pushed her brother back unknowingly making him fall down into the water.

Giggles erupted in the garden as a loud splash was heard. Zravasaya swimmed up in the Lake gasping for breathe making Kaya laugh in delight.

"Queen of Annoyance." He seethed glaring at kaya who laughed with her bhabhisa. Her whole face turned red in happiness looking at her brother  who was now drenched in water.

"Maa Ambe! What is going on here ?" A shocked Saya asked the trio as she entered the garden. She looked at kaya and then at her son who threw a tantrum splashing water in annoyance.

"Maasa this daughter of yours pushed me into the lake" Zravasaya complained.

"No Maasa he did this to himself. " Tanirika defended Her sister-in-law earning a glare from her husband.

"Stop lying lawyer of Princess of Rakshatra!"  Zravasaya fought back throwing a lotus on tanirika. Who dodged it but picked it up from the ground admiring it's beauty.

"Do not pluck flowers when the sun has already set Zravasaya and get out of the lake, you will catch cold my son. And about Kaya pushing you down I will deal with her."

"And this tanirika too maasa" He added pointing towards his wife who glared at him. 

Zravasaya smirked winking at her as she hid herself behind kaya.

"You two girls in my chambers and Zravasaya go change your clothes" Saya ordered all of them who silently followed all her commands.

"Maasa, I didn't push bhaisa it was an accident. " Kaya ranted as soon she entered her mother's chambers. Saya nodded sitting at one of the chairs and looking at kaya.

"Tanirika!" She asked tanirika who laughed nervously nodding at her mother-in-law.

"I pushed him. " She whispered silently making Kaya snap her neck at her.

"When?"  She asked.

"Uh I saw that this conversation was getting too intense and I wanted to ease it out so I just pushed him a little but you two were so engrossed that you didn't notice. "

Saya laughed at tanirika who smiled nervously playing with her fingers.

She can't even be mad at her. Afterall Though Tanirika had the highest position she was the youngest among all her kids. And sometimes it was OK for the youngest to be little mischievous.
