Their eyes collided like lava spilling from the volcano, her black orbs hit the other pair of bloodshot eyes staring back at her with heavy breathing and red face. There was a strange aura in her demeanour something was strange compared to the first time Tanirika saw her. Tanika gripped her hand which held the dagger, she yanked her wrist forcefully making the dagger that out of her hands. A smirk appeared on her mouth as the woman stared at the dagger which now lied on the floor. Grabbing hold of the opportunity, Tanirika twisted her arm forcefully on her back making the woman scream in pain. Pain shot like a harsh splash of water into her body as tanirika applied more pressure on her hand.

"There is no second chance with me. I will kill you right now in your trap, the trap you designed for my death and no one will come to know what happened to you" Tanirika whispered harshly, her hot breath fanning near her ears. The woman wriggled in her tight hold trying to breakthrough when Tanirika twisted her hand more tightly before bringing her right knee closer to the woman's waist and hitting her with it. The woman fell gripping her waist groaning in pain. Like a lioness ruling the forest, her cunning eyes registered every movement of the pain of her enemy lying helplessly on the floor wiggling in pain.

"You would have silently carried out the tasks I assigned to you. What was the use of planning all this and coming after me? You are so dumb" She exclaimed dramatically picking the dagger from the ground circling it in her fingers.

The woman lying on the ground hissed in pain as tanirika pressed her right foot, in the centre of her left knee. She screamed in pain when tanirika punched her foot mercilessly against her knee.

"Aww, Does it hurt? Where were we? Ahh! Yes, You being Dumb. You killing me would have gotten you in trouble but me killing you will be a hidden secret between you and me. " She whispered crouching down on her one knee in front of the woman in pain, she pulled the woman's veil down and tucked her hair behind her ear while whispering tauntingly at her.

"oh! There is one more person who would know jugnu. My little pup is so loyal to me that he won't open his mouth and the other thing is he doesn't like you so. Case closed."

She aimed the dragger on the woman's left cheek applying pressure on it she scarred the woman's face mercilessly, her face holding an expression of anger and disgust. The woman screamed in pain as the dagger tore her skin off and blood oozed from the freshly created wound. Tanika stopped near her collar bone pointing the edge of the dagger lightly near her bone.

"You will pay for this" The woman grunted in a harsh whisper.

"I am the queen, I have much gold to pay for a filthy thing like you. Dont worry, anyways you had no prize you arrived here for free. A gift to the king. A gift to my husband" She pressed the dagger in breaks on her neck, threatening her life.

"You are jealous of me. He is a king, your husband is a king. Dont you know a king's hunger is the biggest hunger a single woman cant fulfil their desires. Wait till he marries other women, appoints whores and fucks them right under your nose. You are just a toy for few months when he gets bored he will toss you out. Dont you barbarians have high sexual desires, A porcelain doll-like you can't satisfy him"

Anger flashed in her veins as she scarred her other cheek relentlessly, while the woman laughed in pain.

"Did I press the wrong nerve?"

" Yes you did because unlike you I have a man, I belong to a man while we can't say the same for you. How pathetic. You don't have to worry about me I am not like other women who have zero knowledge about men and politics I have aced every subject. I will just kill you here in the most brutal way and people would never come to know. I can take control of the whole world if I wanted to it's just that I am not interested. You seem to forget that I am the queen. He can be a king I don't mind but You need to remember I am the Queen" She whispered tauntingly pressing deep in her cheek, her eyes held no emotion.

"You think you could kill me so easily. I had one job if I am not able to fulfil that then I will make sure I take you with me. " Tanirika stared at the woman dangerously. She had her head down grunting in pain.

"Who said I will kill you this soon? " Tanirika laughed rolling her eyes at her.

"I will make sure you cry every second you breathe, you witness the pain every second you pant for water, you will beg me to kill you but I won't. I am merciful you know, I won't kill you I will spare you don't worry. " She shrugged smiling beautifully at her.

"You are going to torture me," she asked her head still down, hair locking the view of the queen gazing at her.

"Thats not- "

"If I am going to get tortured then I will make sure you die worse than me " The woman hissed before grabbing tanirika face in her hold and spitting inside her mouth.

Tanirika gasped in shock as the woman pushed her away making her fall on the ground after spitting in her mouth. Her face landed with a thud against the cold floor as the woman sitting with scars on her face laughed like a madwoman staring at the Queen.

"The queen has fallen " She laughed breathlessly, pain accompanying her laugh.

Tanirika didn't know what happened to her, her whole body started to shake in the cold after few seconds. Chills ran down her spine as her saliva started to choke her out. She breathed harshly against the floor, forcing her body to get up. The laughs of the woman intensified as Tanirika struggled to hold herself down.

Her whole body felt heavy and hot, her face turned white as her veins started to turn pitch green showing the flow of blood in her body.

" Regret holding the dagger back because your majesty now you are going to die the most brutal death " The woman, sumikhi replied snatching the dagger away from her hands. Tanirika gasped squeezing her eyes trying to gather all the strength left in her body, from her hazy eyes she gazed at jugnu who barked in anger at sumikhi who was laughing hard looking at a very sick tanirika.

The pup moved towards his favourite girl, whining in pain he licked her face, trying to ease her pain when sumikhi held tanirika wrist, which had a burnt cut. Moving the dagger severely on the burnt wound she laughed like an insane woman trying to find fish in the water. Tanika screamed in pain as blood mixed with the puss of the burnt wound fell on the ground.

Jugnu barked looking at the woman who was causing pain to tanirika. The pup bit on the woman's face-pulling half of the limb out of her face. Sumikhi cried out in the suffering falling back on the ground as jugnu started drawing the skin of her hand growling in wrath.

Tanirika glimpsed at her pup from a foggy view as the suffering pushed her into sleep.

"Babasa, why did maasa leave us? " Little tanirika asked her father, The king was holding his five-year-old daughter in his arms while the father-daughter duo gazed at the stars.

"Your maasa was stubborn but a beautiful human. She was the best woman, a perfect queen, a perfect wife and human. God lives alone in the sky when he gets lonely he calls for the fairest human and they have to go to him. He called for your mother and she went to him " Tanirika pouted her lips in sadness nuzzling her little face in her father's neck. The King caressed his daughter's back lovingly.

"But I am so small, Why did God take my mother away. Lekha has her mother, Sudha has everyone has but not me." She complained to her father.

"He didn't take her away she is with you every second, at every step of your life. To make you believe about her presence she sits among the stars looking at you, guarding you and loving you "

"She is a star" She looked at her father with widened eyes. Her father chuckled nodding at the little princess.

" When will I become a star," she asked innocently. A pained expression appeared on her father's face as the little girl asked a very dark question in her innocence.

"When you will conquer heights, make a name, grow up and do things which only legends do. Your mother is a star in the sky, you my daughter will be the star living on this earth. " The king replied, tanirika scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

"What's wrong?" the king cooed pulling his daughter's cheeks.

"Will I shine like a star babasaa? "

"Yes," He smiled.

"But where is the light if I am supposed to be a star then I should have light and glow since childhood right? " The king shook his head as his daughter poked him with another question.

"Your light is hidden, this is a secret, my love no one should know it, ok " The king whispered, the little girl widened her eyes in realization nodding at her father.

"Now it's time for my little star to sleep. "

"Please put me to bed babasa. " The king nodded smiling at his daughter who pleaded him with her beautiful little doe eyes.

The King walked towards her chambers with his daughter in his hands who struggled to keep her eyes open. He knew when she will wake up there will be a storm after all she was his little tornado wrapped in the body of a little girl.

Tanirika was his pride, the reason he was living and working. After her mother died while giving birth to their precious daughter she was the only one who was the reason he was breathing.

This was supposed to be a longer chapter. But my father was booking a new mobile phone and he took my 2 hours in all that shit. Gosh!

I am so frustrated lol.

Anyways I hope y'all liked this chapter I am not quite happy with the chapter as I think I would have written much better.
