Third PERSON POV:)

Vedanti stood at the edge of the cliff, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She looked at her warriors, their faces determined but exhausted. "We have to jump," she said, her voice steady despite the fear that gripped her heart.

One by one, they leaped off the cliff, plunging into the waters below. As Vedanti jumped, she couldn't help but think of Abhirath and the battle he was fighting. She prayed that they would both survive this ordeal, and that they would find their way back to each other, stronger than before.

The icy water enveloped her, and for a moment, everything was silent. As she surfaced, gasping for air, she saw Omkara standing at the bank with a smirk, soldiers ready to capture her and her team. Vedanti froze.

If there was one person she feared, it was Omkara because of what he had done to her in the past. She was shocked to see him here; wasn't he supposed to be on the battlefield?

Omkara stood there, flanked by his guards, his eyes blazing with fury. "So, the queen herself comes to me," he sneered.

Vedanti's heart raced, and she felt a surge of fear, but she stood her ground, holding the letter tightly. "This ends now," she said, her voice steady. "Your schemes, your deceit – it all ends here."

Omkara laughed, a cold, menacing sound. "You think you can stop me? Your kingdom will fall, and you will help me with it, my woman."

Vedanti felt a chill run down her spine at his words. The term "my woman" brought back the most traumatic incident of her life. Her teammates were captured, and Omkara moved toward her. But before he could touch her, Abhirath and his soldiers stormed the bank on horses.

Abhirath dismounted swiftly, his eyes fixed on Omkara with rage. "Stay away from my vedanti, you bastard," he growled, stepping between Vedanti and Omkara, sword drawn.

Sensing the tension, Abhirath's father, Vishwanath, called out, "We can talk calmly. Put your swords down, both of you."

Omkara laughed again, a derisive sound. "I am winning here. Why should I put my sword down, uncle? Or should I say future father-in-law?" He smirked, making Vishwanath's face pale.

"What is going on? Why are you calling him father-in-law?" Abhirath demanded, confused and angry.

"Calm down, Abhirath. You are about to receive the biggest shock of your life. Right, my woman?" Omkara said, winking at Vedanti.

Abhirath pressed his sword to Omkara's neck, fury in his eyes. "Watch you words before I cut you into half," he said in a dangerous voice.

"I bet you'll throw her out of your life once you know her secrets. Right, future father-in-law?" Omkara taunted, looking at Vishwanath, who lowered his head in defeat.

"Speak!" Abhirath demanded, desperation creeping into his voice.

"Listen then, my boy. Your father is not your father. Vishwanath is Vedanti's biological father, and she knew it. The parents she was brought up with are your biological parents." Abhirath looked at his father, then back at Vedanti, who stood behind him. He couldn't believe she had hidden this from him.

Omkara continued, relishing the chaos he was creating. "Trupti also knew. That's why she decided that if she couldn't have you, she would have your younger brother. Dev is your sibling, not Vedanti's."

Abhirath's heart stopped as the truth came out. The two people he loved and respected the most had hidden such an important thing from him.

"And my dear Abhirath, there's more that Vedanti didn't tell you," Omkara said in a sickeningly sweet voice, ready to drop another bombshell.

Vedanti felt a cold dread as Omkara continued, his eyes gleaming with malicious satisfaction. "Vedanti knew the whole time. She kept it from you, lied to you. And there's something else...something that will change everything."

Abhirath turned to Vedanti, pain and betrayal etched on his face. "What else haven't you told me?" he asked, his voice breaking.

Vedanti opened her mouth to respond, but Omkara interrupted with a sinister grin. "Vedanti has been secretly working against you, Abhirath. She has been in contact with enemies , feeding them information and she is involved with me. She has betrayed you in more ways than you can imagine."

Abhirath's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. He turned to Vedanti, his expression a mix of hurt and anger. "Is this true?"

Vedanti shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "No, Abhirath, it's not true. I would never betray you. I love you."

Omkara laughed, his voice echoing in the tense silence. "Believe what you want, but the truth is out. Your precious queen is not who you think she is."

Abhirath's grip tightened on his sword, his mind racing with confusion and rage. The world seemed to spin around him as he struggled to process the revelations. Vedanti reached out to him, but he recoiled, his eyes filled with anguish.

The tension was palpable, the air thick with unspoken words and emotions. The cliffhanger loomed over them, threatening to tear their world apart. Abhirath stood at the crossroads, his heart torn between love and betrayal, unsure of who to trust or what to believe.

Abhirath's soldiers stood in stunned silence, mirroring the shock and confusion that churned within him. Omkara smirked, barking orders to his head soldier before stepping forward. "My woman, let's go," he said, extending his hand toward Vedanti. His eyes communicated something only she understood, and with tears streaming down her face and guilt weighing heavy on her heart, Vedanti reached out hesitantly.

But before she could grasp Omkara's hand, Abhirath was quicker, gripping her wrist tightly. "Better stay away from my wife," he growled, his voice trembling with controlled rage.

Omkara laughed derisively. "Abhirath, you can't keep someone with you against their will. She wants to come with me."

Abhirath stepped closer, his eyes blazing. "I don't need her words to know what she wants. She is not coming with you," he declared, his fury palpable.

The forest around them seemed to hold its breath. Omkara's expression darkened as he glanced at Abhirath. "Fine then," he hissed. "I will kill you and take her."

Vedanti's voice trembled as she interrupted, "I will come with you, Omkara, but let my father, Abhirath, and the soldiers go safely."

Abhirath's heart shattered. He couldn't believe she would doubt his ability to win. He turned to her, his eyes filled with hurt and anger. "Shut up! You don't know what you're saying. If you go with him, what is the use of this life? That means everything he said is true!"

Vedanti's eyes widened, and she stepped forward, desperate. "I give you our unborn baby's swear. Please, father, please take him," she pleaded.

Vishwanath, her father, looked at her with a mixture of sorrow and disappointment. "No, I didn't think my daughter would accept defeat without a fight."

Abhirath's grip on Vedanti tightened as he faced Omkara. "You won't touch her," he said, his voice steely with determination.

Omkara's smirk grew. "Oh, Abhirath, you're so naïve. Your father is right here, and even he knows the truth."

Vishwanath's eyes were filled with regret as he looked at his daughter. "Vedanti, I raised you to fight, not to give in."

Vedanti felt the weight of her father's words and Abhirath's unwavering belief in her. Tears flowed freely down her cheeks as she realized the depth of their love and faith in her. She turned to Omkara, her eyes fierce. "You will not win, Omkara. I will never be yours."

Omkara's expression twisted with rage. "You will regret this, Vedanti. You all will."

Suddenly, a horn sounded in the distance. Abhirath's soldiers perked up, recognizing it as a signal from their reinforcements. Omkara's men exchanged uneasy glances, sensing the tide turning against them.

Abhirath seized the moment, his voice booming with authority. "Soldiers, prepare for battle! We will not let them take what is ours."

The tension in the forest crackled as both sides readied for the impending clash. Vedanti, though scared, felt a surge of hope and determination. She looked at Abhirath, their eyes locking in a silent promise to fight together.

In the ensuing chaos, Vedanti fought alongside Abhirath, her heart pounding with a mixture of fear and courage. They moved in perfect sync, their love and trust guiding their every move. The battle was fierce, but their combined strength and the loyalty of their soldiers began to turn the tide.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the battlefield, Vedanti and Abhirath stood side by side, victorious but weary. The forest was silent once more, the threat of Omkara's forces driven back.

The battlefield was a sea of jubilation as Vedanti, her father, and their soldiers celebrated their hard-won victory. The threat of Omkara had been driven back, and for the first time in what felt like ages, the kingdom felt a semblance of peace. Soldiers exchanged hearty congratulations, and the air was filled with laughter and relief.

Vedanti, still dressed in her battle attire, made her way towards Abhirath, a plate of sweets in her hand. Her heart swelled with pride and gratitude for their shared triumph. As she approached him, she smiled softly, offering him a piece of the sweet as a symbol of their victory.

"Here, my love," she said tenderly, holding the sweet up to his lips. "We did it together. Let's celebrate."

But to her shock, Abhirath's eyes, red with anger and unshed tears, bore into hers with a fury she had never seen before. In one swift motion, he slapped the sweet from her hand, sending it flying to the ground. Vedanti felt a chill run down her spine, goosebumps prickling her skin at the sight of him so enraged.

Abhirath's voice was a harsh whisper, full of wounded betrayal. "How dare you stand before me and act as if nothing has happened. Do you think this victory can erase the truth that has come to light?"

Vedanti's smile faltered, her heart sinking as his words cut through the euphoria of their victory. The battlefield, once vibrant with the sounds of celebration, seemed to fall silent around them. She looked into his eyes, searching for the man she loved, but found only a storm of hurt and anger.

"Abhirath, please," she pleaded, her voice trembling. "I know you're hurting, but we—"

"—We what?" he continued, his voice rising in a mix of frustration and despair. "You think we can just gloss over everything with a celebration? That a victory can erase the secrets and the lies?"

Vedanti's eyes filled with tears as she took a step closer, her hands reaching out in a desperate plea. "No, I don't think that. I just... I wanted to share this moment with you. To show that despite everything, we're still here, still fighting."

Abhirath's face was a mask of pain and disbelief. "But how can we celebrate when trust is shattered? When everything I thought I knew about you was a lie?"

Her heart ached at his words, and she struggled to find the right thing to say. "I was trying to protect you. I thought I was doing the right thing by keeping the truth from you. I never wanted to hurt you."

"Protect me?" Abhirath's voice cracked with a mix of bitterness and sadness. "You kept the truth from me, and now I feel like I don't even know who you are. The person I trusted, the person I loved... it's all built on lies."

Vedanti felt a cold chill as the distance between them grew. "Please, Abhirath," she said softly, her voice breaking. "I know I've made mistakes, but we need to talk about this. We need to find a way to move forward."

Abhirath looked at her with a mixture of sorrow and rage. "I don't know if we can move forward, Vedanti. Not after everything that's happened. I need time... to figure out what's real and what isn't."

His words were like a knife to her heart, and she felt tears streaming down her face. "Abhirath, don't shut me out. Don't turn away from me. We've been through so much together. Don't let this destroy us."

But Abhirath, looking as though his world had crumbled, turned away. "I can't. Not now. Not after everything that's happened. I need space... to deal with this."

He walked away, his shoulders heavy with unspoken pain. The sounds of celebration around them felt distant and hollow to Vedanti. She stood alone, her heart aching with the weight of his rejection and the realization that their victory had come at a devastating personal cost.
