I got bored at school one day, and I decided to try to make my own starter pokemon based of Philippine animals, for the grass type, I decided to base it of the giant golden-crowned flying fox, its a type of bat and according to the Wiki, it roosts(settles) in trees, so I made it grass flying, as for the fire type, I decided to go witg the fire starter chinese zodiac theory, which basically claims that every fire type starter is based of one of the animals from the chinese zodiac, so, I went with the ox since out of all of the remaining animals I can choose(since I can't use an animal that was already used), but, there are no oxen in the philippines, so I used the next best option, a carabao... wait, you don't know what a carabao is? Its the national animal of the Philippines, and its basically a water buffalo, which is ironic since this thing likes to bathe in rivers and watery mud from what I know(I've seen carabaos bathe in (dirty)rivers or covered in a bit of mud so many times), and the pokemon I'm making is fire, but my one of my (best) friends and classmate said "why not make it part ground type?" And I instantly came up with a good pokedex entry

"The flames in and on its body can temporarily extinguish to allow it to bathe in mud or dirty water to cool of."

But... I did not come up with something for the water type yet, and since my friend(the same one that suggested the part ground type) pointed out the each water starter is based of an animal that is able go on land and water, so I need it to be based of an amphibian(or mammal, like the sea otter, and reptile, but some seaside birbs(ye) can indeed be a good choice), but note that some species of fish can go on both land and water, like the mudskipper(which is the animal mudkip is probably based of), it traps oxygen filled water under its gill and used them like an air tank

So guys, can you pleeeeaaase help me come up with names and an animal for the water type, I'm not that good at makin original pokemon...
