when homophobic people say "they shouldn't be exposing our children to gay characters!!!! It turns them gay!"

When we were children yes all of us, we were exposed to straight couples all our lives and seeing it as the "norm".

We get exposed to straight couples so why can't we be exposed to same sex couples huh?

Clearly me watching straight couples all day didn't turn me 100% straight and for most people it didn't turn them straight at all, instead posed a harmful idea that you have to be straight to be normal

So now we have older people seeing same sex couples and saying it's wrong and yada yada yada

The only one making a big deal out of same sex couples are the ones who claim that it's bad. When same sex couples should be normalized like straight couples

Love is love (unless you're a pedophile or rapist in that case fuck off)

Don't demonize the LGBTQ+ Community because it's not what you're used to.

Instead

Learn, acknowledge, and accept that not everyone is going to live by your standards.

And besides!!!

Stop worrying about people's love lives!
