I found a post on Facebook that I wanted to try. I showed it to my sister and she agreed to help me. It's quite simple actually, many of you have probably tried it already. All you need is a Ziploc bag, colored pencils, and water.

Once we had filled the bag and closed it, we took it outside and started the testing. First it was one pencil.

It worked. So we continued, one after another we put them in.

The bag wasn't wet. Well until my sister squeezed the bag. We felt the pencils on both ends and they were dry. DRY. Even the end that went through the bag. After we pulled the colored pencils, out over the sink, we felt the whole pencil. It was completely dry.

We did this experiment twice. The second one I asked her to hold the bag with both hands. She did and I took the colored pencils out quickly and stepped back. She got wet very fast. It was fun and I highly recommend others do this. It's something to do with friends or siblings. It even your parents, you could try to pull the stunt I did.

Here are the two bags in the sink almost completely drained off water after the pencils were pulled out.

Oh and a warning if you're going to try this. When you pull the pencils out make sure the holes are not facing you. Otherwise you will get a bath. One more thing, we used pencils that were pratically brand new and sharp. I'm not sure if that made a difference or not.
