15 years ago today, the United States was attacked. I'm sure most of you remember or at least have heard of the attack. This event happened when I wasn't even a year old, I may not have any actual memory of the event when it happened, but I remember going around asking people where they were when the towers were hit. My prayers to out to family members and friends and whoever else that had lost a loved one on that terrible day. 15 years ago.

I have a question though. Why did it take something so bad to erase the lines of race, religion, and all of the other things that keep us Americans apart? Shouldn't we be working together more than we are, I mean the protests breaking out all over. I don't even know what they're for. Our soldiers, police, firemen, and individuals go out of their way to help protect others. But most are sitting on their couch being racist or yelling at something on the news.

For one day, just one day, can't we be like we were 15 years ago. When we helped each other her away from the descending towers. Why can't more people have what those policemen, firemen, paramedics, k-9s, and individuals had in their hearts before they were ripped out of someone's life.
