Please don't feel sorry for me if you read this. I wasn't gonna say anything but I may be more absentee soon...like more so than I've been the past couple of mos...and I felt like I owed y'all an explanation as to why

I'm sick. It's an illness I've battled off and on since 2004, been in and out of the hospital for, and have had multiple surgeries for. I almost lost my life to it in 2004. Well it had been dormant for almost two yrs when it became active again in 2016. It took over a yr of numerous meds and a couple of procedures for it to go dormant again which was about mid Oct 2017. Two wks ago I found out it was active yet again. I literally just left my primary drs office and had some tests run. I'll be going to the main specialist/surgeon that's treated me most recently (2014 and 2017) for it. Another specialist upped my dose of vicodin cause I'm in constant pain and vicodin is the only narcotic that I don't have side affects with so I can function pretty well taking it four times a day...altho the pain starts to come back at around the 4 to 4 1/2 hr mark but I can only take the vicodin every 6 hrs so I've been popping acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and aleve like tic tacs. My primary dr will be adding a couple of more meds for me to start once the test results come in. I'm really hoping all the drs can get it under wraps so it'll go dormant sooner than later and *fingers crossed* I won't have to have another surgery for it. Besides the constant pain I'm consistently exhausted and nauseous which seriously sucks

In the meantime I'm gonna be sleeping a lot (ok...not really...more just laying around), going to multiple dr appts, still trying to work, trying to pass this class, doing for my daughter, and trying to be at the hospital with my mom

I'm good tho. Really. It was caught early this time so I know everything will be ok
