Ugh

So I'm getting the dreaded braces.

I'm really nervous about it somehow, because I've heard that it really hurts.

And it's also going to change the way my teeth look or the way my smile is. I really don't like any kind of change.

Can somebody help?? :/

How does it feel to have braces? Does it hurt often? Anything I should know before I start wearing them??
