Whooo! Just had our second parade of the season!

I shit you not, another band applauded for us, kids went "awesome" "how can they look so serious" *does the shrimp*. When we snapped up for Sunset, one girl went "Well that's impressive"

And that was this parade.

Last year, some guy thought were a professional band, not only because we are the biggest band (we don't have music nerds, it's actually cool to do music in my school), but because we looked so professional.

Fuck yeah!

The worst part is the opening turn... we were side stepping (almost like a karaoke)... in step... Getting off that turn was brutal...

And on Memorial Day, we walked through our home town, making all of us proud. We did a four whistle (we all like up single file) into the grave yard, two seniors played Taps, and there was a 21 Gun Salute.

Our line up is a lovely song called Sunset Express (we have a horn flash in the middle on the song, then at the end we march backwards... in step). Our second song is called Patriotic Salute, which we will play in the TV area of DC. Then we have a three whistle, where we play both songs, and at the end of Sunset... the Guard runs to the side of us, marches sideways and spins their flags, then as we start Patriotic they run through us.

Now tomorrow we have the Pageant of the Bands, we used to sweep house, and now our director has moved us up to AA from A. We're butting heads with the big boys, and we've been warned that another school is pretty darn good... and we have some serious competition.

We're back to AA, our drums our great, and I still don't think we're ready. But tomorrow is going to be big. I feel like it more so this year because we've moved up... we've been warned. We can't slack off. This is no longer a walk in the park.

We're Devils, and if we go down... we're dragging you all back to hell with us. Because we're going to claim heaven.
