It mentioned Oedipus, a Greek man who killed his father to wed his mother,    his father's wife. But, I think he didn't realize it was his mother till he had a family with her, I believe. In his disgust and grief, he pulled his eyes out with a spoon (or pricked them with needles or something) and won't crazy as a blind man! 😄
