The Together As One Series

Hello, my dear readers!
This series was written by of my favorite writers on Wattpad, who is @hope_forever_18 :D

Anyhow, the series just ended today (when I wrote this), or it ended today where I'm at. And yes, Rowan, that was the stuff I was reading at school.

I really liked the series, and Hope allowed us to write a small story or something about her characters. So I'm gonna try it out.

Soooo. Enough talk!! XD Here it is, read below.

The wind whistled in her ears and ruffled her wings as Destiny soared through the night sky with her son, Dean. "Woohoo!" Dean whooped (is that even a word XD) as he did a series of flips and flying patterns. Leonardo, Dean's father, sat down on a nearby rooftop with his turtle daughter Venus, smiling warmly as he watched his wife and son zoomed through the air.

Since the Shredder was dead and his henchmen left them, neither side continuing the feud, Leo's family was at peace. There was nothing to worry about, nothing to stay up all night for, nothing to be afraid of. Life was good.
Suddenly, the wolf-raven flew high, high, into the air, then slammed her black wings close at her back. She plummeted down, enjoying the nice feeling. Closing her eyes, she stretched her arms and legs out. Then just as she was about to hit the ground, she burst her wings open, lifting herself back into the air.

"Mom...that was awesome!" Dean exclaimed as he clapped his hands. Venus cheered and jumped up and down excitedly. Destiny flashed Dean a fanged smile, taking a fake bow. "Thank you, thank you," she announced playfully as she and Dean flew over to where Leo was, sitting crossed-legged.

Leo smiled and stood up. He gave his family a hug. Destiny, Dean, and Venus returned the blue clad turtle's hug. "I love you all," he murmured. "We love you too," they chorused together. "Let's go home," said the 15 year old Venus as they walked hand in hand back home.

Giggles of laughter could be heard inside the lair as Ice Cream Kitty and Pepper-oni the pizza dog licked Mitch's face as he rolled around on the floor. "Guys, guys. I know you love me," Mitch said as Ice Cream Kitty meowed and Pepper-oni barked happily. Mitch collapsed in a fit of laughter again as they tackled him to the floor.

Michelangelo and Annalise burst in to see what was happening and smiled warmly as their son played with the two pets. Mikey squealed and jumped in, joining in on the fun with the pets. Annalise laughed and shook her head.

She opened her laptop and sighed. It was fun being a YouTuber, but she had many more responsibilities than to make videos and post them on the website. Life was even better in the lair.

A squeal interrupted her thoughts as Mikey bounced onto the couch with Mitch. "Who wants to play Mario Kart?!?!" Mikey hollered. "Me!!!" Mitch screamed back. "Cupcake?" Mikey looked to his wife. The blonde woman smiled. "Sure." They played the video game, screaming and groaning every now and then.
The lair was suddenly filled with happiness and joy. Without Mikey and his family, it wouldn't have been like this at all.

Copeland strummed her guitar as she sang, both her parents Raphael and Taylor listening intently as the sat with her on the twisting platforms hanging above the lair.

"These are the days we've been waiting for,
Neither of us knows what's in store.
You just roll your window down and place your bets,
These are the days we won't regret
These are the days we'll never forget."

The pink-masked female turtle ended the song with a final strum. (Haha, that song was in my head just now XD I like the Avicii songs too, they're really nice! And if you're wondering, that part was from the song "The Days")

Her parents clapped wildly. Even though it was only the two of them, it sounded like a whole audience to Copeland, because it was the only audience that she wanted.

"That was great!" Taylor exclaimed. "Almost just like me. Keep practicing, and you'll be able to perform a duet with Asher," she encouraged. "Ya know, I thought that song was great. It kinda describes our situation right now, without Shredder and the other mutants, with nothing to worry about ever again," Raphael commented. "Deep, dad, deep," Copeland laughed. "Well...I'm so happy that he's dead," Raph replied and they laughed. "Me too, Raphie, me too," Taylor said. Raphael growled a little at the nickname and chuckled.

He touched the lightning shaped chip on Copeland's plastron. "And we'll always be twinning," he murmured. The turtle teen nodded. "Always."

A squeal of success came from the lab. "Yes! I did it! I did it!" Dakota the half cyborg girl jumped up and down as she lifted her experiment into the air as if she had found a diamond.

"What happened?" Asher asked as he ran into the lab, followed by both their mom and dad, Donatello and Sarina. "I did it! I finally made a helmet that lets you move things with your mind and be psychic--like the one Dr. Rockwell has--you showed me a picture of him!" she exclaimed. "I tested it out and it works! Who wants to go first?" "Me!" Dakota's twin brother Asher raised his hand up into the air. Although Dakota and Asher look nothing alike as mutants, they were born together and were still considered twins. Dakota was a cyborg with one red robotic eye and one brown eye, and Asher was a half mutant turtle half cyborg with a single blue robotic eye, a brown eye, and short brown hair. (Hope, tell me if I got the colors wrong)

Dakota handed the helmet to Asher, and he put it on. The intelligent turtle closed his eyes amd concentrated, and his violin suddenly lifted into the air. The violin positioned itself in midair, and the bow on the strings, as if an invisible person were about to play it.

Suddenly, the violin and the bow were moving in sync very quickly, playing the complicated song that Asher had been working on for the past few weeks. Donnie and Sarina "ooo"ed and "ahh"ed as the violin continued to play itself. Even Metalhead came to watch. The song lasted a good whole five minutes, until it slowed down and the bow gave a final slide, lifting itself dramatically in the air as if it had finished a performing in a concert.

The violin and bow flew to Asher's hands and he caught it without opening his eyes. He put them gently on the table and took the helmet off. His blue eye flashed with excitement.

"That. Was. Awesome!" Dakota exclaimed. The three clapped, and Metalhead joined in by clapping robotically. "Nah, I should be thanking you," Asher admitted. "You were the one who invented this whole thing." Dakota smiled, delighted, and so did the rest of her family.

"I love you all so, so much," Asher said as he brought them into a group hug, with Metalhead included as well. "Me too," Dakota murmured, her red eye flashing with warmth.

The four families: Leo's, Raph's, Donnie's, and Mikey's sat in the lair, watching a movie. Destiny's tail wagged and Dean's wings twitched every now and then. Venus put her head on Leonardo's shoulder, her eyes getting a little droopy. Sarina's, Dakota's and Asher's eyes flashed with excitement as the movie went on. Taylor shifted to a better position next to Raphael. Copeland's feet sway back and forth as she lay sprawled on the floor with her head in her hands, smiling lightly. Annalise and Mitch grinned every once in a while. Donatello smiled and nodded as Michelangelo whispered something to him in some parts of the movie. The whole family seemed content with what they had, but they all knew in their hearts that something...or rather someone was missing.
