Random Hetalia Scene 四 (4)

Yaaaay!

I'm writing a fourth one-shot. :)

And it's gonna include more people ;)

And it's gonna be really long...but I don't bother cutting it into two...or three...

Enjoy!

~~~~~~
China and Samantha sat at in front of China's house as they gazed at the moon. They remained quiet, a comfortable silence between them.
"Look, a rabbit is making medicine on the moon," China said, pointing. Samantha nodded. They sat in silence again. She glanced at her phone. Suddenly, she spoke up.
"To be honest, I would like to invite some friends over," Samantha admitted. "Would that be okay for you?"
"To where, your apartment? I wouldn't get to see you for a day, but yes, that's totally fine, aru."
"No, I meant your house. My apartment is way to small and boring to do anything fun," she said. "We could hang out or watch a movie, or even let them spend the night over."
"I guess that would be alright, aru. I've been thinking of having some of my fellow countries over too," China said.
"Who?"
"Hmm, Canada, Germany, America, and Japan...but Canada, Germany, and America seem to want to bring a few friends over as well. And all three of them seem to be all female."
Samantha frowned, deep in thought. She's heard Shelby, Hope, and Dreamz talk about the countries that China mentioned. Hope tried to tell them that Russia wasn't as scary as he would seem, and Dreamz was good friends with Germany and Australia. Shelby kept telling them that she didn't ship herself with America, but eventually gave up.
"They wouldn't be by the names of Hope, Dreamz, and Shelby, would they?" Samantha wondered out loud.
"How did you know that?" China's eyes widened.
"Because I'm psychic."
When she saw that China's shocked expression didn't change, she rolled her eyes.
"It's because they're the friends I was planning to have over."
"Oh." He laughed. "What a coincidence. I guess we could invite them all over and have a huge party, then."
"Were you guys planning to invite me?" a voice muttered.
They turned around. Hong Kong had opened the door and poked his head out, his eyebrows raised.
Yào rolled his eyes. "You live here. You're already included, aru."
"Well that's a relief. I didn't want to miss out on the fun," Loung said. "Good night. Don't stay out too late." He closed the door and walked away.
"When do you want them to come over?" China turned back to Samantha.
She grinned. "Tomorrow?"
Yào shrugged. "Okay, if you say so." He looked back up at the moon. "Japan and I used to gaze at the moon a lot. I would tell him that rabbits are making medicine, while he would argue that they were pounding mochi." His expression turned to one with a bittersweet nature, as if longing for Japan to come back.
"But it's okay, now. My little brother has grown strong now." China smiled. He got up from his sitting position. "I'll go to bed now. See you tomorrow. Get more sleep, we have a long day tomorrow," China said, before disappearing down the hallway.
Samantha sat there for a few minutes, enjoying the silence. She had never felt this at peace before. She should do this more often. She got up, entered the house, and shut the door behind her.
~~~Time skip to the next day brought to you by Panda~~~

"Dust the sofa! Wipe the tables!  We must keep everything neat and tidy, aru!" China barked as he ran around vacuuming the floor.

"Calm down, teacher. We are trying our best," Hong Kong said calmly as he grabbed the books from a shelf and started organizing them. Samantha started wiping the table with a cloth.

"I am sorry, aru, but I just want everything to be perfect for when the guests come over." He switched off the vacuum. "There. That should be fine." Panda waddled into the living room.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Samantha went to open the door as she held Panda's paw. When she opened it, there was a whole group of people crowding around the door. Her eyes widened and she grinned awkwardly. She waved, then let go of Panda's paw, dashing back into the house and grabbing China and Hong Kong. She rushed them to the door, peeking out from behind Yào.

"Sorry..." she whispered. "I get really nervous when I have t-to interact with large crowds of people...I-I'm not good with meeting new-ish people," she stammered quietly. Loung patted her on the back.

"I apologize if we brought too many people," Germany said, "Prussia, Russia, and Australia wanted to tag along."

"Yah, it's okay, aru. Come inside," China said, letting them enter the house. They all settled on the couch and on the floor, sitting down and chatting. Samantha recognized the three girls: Shelby, Hope, and Dreamz, Germany, Canada, and Japan. There was a country with short blonde hair, who she guessed was America. The tall country that sat down with Hope must be Russia...and that other country with a band aid on his nose should be Australia, which leaves the obnoxious boy with white hair and red eyes to be Prussia.

She sat down next to Shelby. The older girl smiled a little.

"Hey."

"Hi," Samantha replied. "Uh...well...how's life? I've always wanted to meet you."

"Me too. Life's good for me."

"I have some video games if you guys want to play," China announced, then widened his eyes, realizing his mistake. Samantha stood up from the couch, her brown eyes glaring at the Asian country.

"Hold on for a moment," she told Shelby, then slowly walked over to China. She smiled at him, placing both hands onto his shoulders. The Asian country looked scared.

Samantha then took his hand and led him into the hallway. There was a tense, silent atmosphere. Everyone fell silent. It was so quiet that you could hear the wall clock's second hand ticking.

"Oh dear..." Canada whispered nervously.

"Don't be worried. It'll be fine," Hong Kong assured him. "She forgives people quickly. And she would never hurt anyone."

Suddenly, a loud cry of frustration could be heard from the next room.

"Waaaaah! Why didn't you tell me that you had Mario Kart?!"

Immediately, everybody burst out laughing. A few minutes later, they came out. China was smirking, and the teen's face was flushed red with embarrassment. She pouted, plopping back on the couch with a scoff.

China handed the games to America, who plugged it in to the TV.

"Alright, who wants to play, dudes? I wanna play!" he asked, throwing his hand up and lightening the mood.

"Is that a challenge? The awesome me cannot back down from this!" Prussia announced, reaching for another controller. Dreamz laughed as Germany sighed and rolled his eyes at his brother.

"Don't forget about me, mate! I wanna try too!" Australia sat down beside the two. "There's still one remote, who's gonna go for it?"

Smiling slightly, Shelby swiped the last one. Prussia smirked.

"This'll be easy."

"Don't underestimate me," Shelby warned him.

"Who do you think'll win?" Hope asked Samantha. "I vote Shelby," she said, pointing to her.

"Me too!" the younger girl chirped. "How about you, Dreamz?"

"Hm...maybe Jett or Shelby."

"What? You don't believe in me, sheila?" Jett turned his head to Dreamz. She grinned.

"I say friend America will win," Russia said, gently placing his gloved hands onto Alfred's shoulders. The nation flinched.

"Thanks for your support Russia, but I am 100% sure that I'll win! I am the hero, after all!" He giggled nervously.

"What do you think, Jappie?" Australia asked.

"I don't really have an opinion..." Kiku replied. "I'd rather watch who would win than guess."

"How about you, Matthew?" Samantha asked. Canada hugged Kumajiro.

"I-I think Shelby will win."

"Why is no one voting for me?" Prussia demanded. "That's so not cool and unawesome!"

The game started up, and the screen was split into four. Each player glared competitively at the screen as the numbers "3, 2, 1" flashed across the screen.

"Go!" yelled the voice in the game. Three of of their cars sped forwards, zooming past most of the characters in the game: Princess Peach, Toad, Luigi...

"Hey...I only see Shelby, Jett, and me. Where's Gilbert? Alfred wondered out loud.

"Ugh! How do you work this thing?" Gilbert groaned. Everyone looked to his screen, and his car was going in the wrong direction. Plus, he was in twelfth place. "This is so not awesome!"

Australia laughed. "And that's why no one voted for you, mate!"

"Someone help me!" Prussia yelled. "Bro, you have to try this! It's super hard!" he said, handing the remote to Germany.

"It can't be that hard," Ludwig sighed. He spun the car back into the right direction.

Gilbert gasped dramatically. "How did you do that?!"

Germany ignored him and obtained an item box. It spun and stopped on the bullet, which gave him a great boost. He handed the remote back to Prussia, who was sadly still in last place.

"Ooo, look!" he pointed to his screen, "Flowers!" he drove his car off course and landed in the flower bed. Germany put his head in his palm, shaking his head in amusement. "They're pretty!"

Meanwhile, many of the characters were on their last lap. America was in first place, while Shelby was in second, a few feet away from him.

"There's no way you can beat me!" Alfred stuck his tongue at Shelby, who rolled her eyes.

"Watch and learn," she muttered. She sped towards an item box, and got it. As it spun, it landed on a red tortoiseshell. She hurled it at America, who dodged it. Shelby groaned in annoyance.

"Haha! Look at me!" Jett exclaimed, who was currently in fifth place.

"Nice!" Dreamz complimented, and he flashed her a smile. But when he looked back at the screen, it was covered in squid ink.

"Oh darn it..." he muttered, flying off course into the river.

Shelby and Alfred were meters away from the finish line. They sped towards it, both of them at the same pace.

Shelby could hear Hope and Samantha quietly chanting her name, but she ignored them, trying to concentrate.

In a flash, America's and Shelby's cars went across the finish line at the exact same time. The two stared at the screen intently, waiting for the scores to pop up.

After the eleventh player crossed the line, the scores popped up.

"What?" Shelby yelled. "How is that possible? I--he--I was faster than him!"

"Apparently, I was faster than you by a tenth of a second," Alfred boasted.

Shelby glared at him, who grinned at her.

"And I didn't get to finish!" Prussia wailed, obviously unsatisfied.

"Who's up next?" Australia asked, holding up his remote in the air. Dreamz threw her hand up, and so did Hope. Matthew then raised his hand a little in the air, and after a few minutes of pleading, Kiku finally agreed to join in. That round was won by Kiku, and everyone was surprised, even him.

A third round was played by China, Russia, Samantha, and Hong Kong. The four did pretty well, although the three Asians were obviously more experienced at this game, but they all let Ivan win because they were afraid that he would do their "kolkolkol" chant on them.

The group did a few more rounds, each of them playing at least twice. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and fun...and wailing noises from Gilbert.

When it was around five in the afternoon, Yào beckoned Loung and Samantha towards the kitchen to prepare dinner for the group.

The large group played other video games that China had provided them with.

After helping China make dinner, Loung and Samantha joined the group. They had paused the video game they had been playing.

"What are you doing?" she asked as she sat beside Germany.

"We're sharing stories," the blonde country replied. "America is having his turn."

"...and that's how I became friends with a whale!" he exclaimed, a big smile on his face. "Awesome, right?"

"Well finally, it's my turn," Prussia announced. "I bet you've all been wondering about the adventures of the awesome me!"

"You know, one time, I was so awesome that I totally beat Russia when we were kids, and--"

"Actually, no," Russia interrupted. "You wanted war with me so I choked you and choked you until you surrendered, remember?" He giggled.

Prussia pouted. "Fine. My previous name was actually the Teutonic Knights, and it was so awesome and--"

"Dinner's ready!" China interrupted, smiling.

Everyone followed him to the dining room, and Prussia scoffed.

"Fine, I'll talk about my awesomeness during dinner, then!" he huffed, then stalked off after the others.

As they ate, Prussia shared his adventures in the past. After that, he took out a mug of beer out of nowhere and held it up.

"And for my sharing of my awesomeness, I say that we totally celebrate!" he cheered.

"I brought vodkaaaaaaa!" Russia said happily, pulling a metal flask out of his pocket.

"Um, guys...you know that I'm too young to be drinking...right?" Samantha said, feeling slightly uneasy at the sight of it. "I'm only fourteen..."

"Oh. Yes. I forgot," Ivan said, a smile still on his face. He patted her head and put away the flask. Samantha stayed relaxed, although her face was evident of slight fear.

"How are you so calm?" Shelby whispered, trembling beside her.

Samantha shrugged. "He doesn't seem too scary."

"You guys wanna watch a movie after dinner?" America exclaimed. "I wanna watch Marvel!"

"I was thinking of watching Russian horror movie!" Ivan said. "Little Sunflower, you watch with me?" he asked, turning to Hope.

"I don't mind what we watch," the tall girl replied. "We can watch it if the others want to."

"O-Or maybe we could watch a Disney movie?" Canada whispered, but no one heard him.

"I want to watch one of those Indian horror movies! It's funny when the people start dancing for no reason," Dreamz giggled.

"Or Japanese scary movie!" Kiku suggested.

"Who said we were watching horror?" Samantha whimpered.

"I like Disney movies. Or Marvel. I don't like horror movies because they make me unawesome!" Prussia said. "Although I don't mind watching them because nothing can totally scare me because I'm awesome!"

"You're not making any sense, Gilbert," Germany muttered.

"Hey Shelby, you're not speaking," Jett noticed. "What do you wanna watch?"

The teen looked up. "Hm? I don't mind. Marvel would be fine." She shrugged.

"Marvel! Marvel! Marvel!" America chanted. He brought out a big box of CDs. "I've got the whole collection right here!"

"No one said we were going to watch Marvel," Russia murmured.

"Maybe we should take turns. We could watch a movie from Alfred's collection, then after that, we could watch your horror movie!" Hope suggested.

"Da, is okay," Russia replied, smiling.

"Yay!" America cheered, "Now what do you wanna watch? I personally would want to watch Captain America, because that's like, totally me!"

"How about the Spiderman?" Canada suggested.

"I think Iron Man sounds good," Australia exclaimed.

"Nah, I think we should watch Ant-Man," Germany said. "I heard that it's good."

"It is good," Samantha agreed. "I've seen it before, but I wouldn't mind watching it again."

"Everyone want to watch Ant-Man?" America announced. A few were nodding, and no one objected. "Ant-Man it is, then."

They finished eating their dinner. China was kind enough to let all of them stay for the night. Some of them went to take a shower, since they knew that they would be staying up late.

America, Russia, Prussia, and Australia had waited for the rest to finish up as they sat in front of the TV. The others came out one by one, but Japan took the longest. He admitted that he liked baths instead of showers and apologized to China just in case the water bill went up.

The others were dressed either in the spare clothes they brought or the extra sets of pyjamas that China had provided them with. Samantha grabbed several pillows from the bedrooms and distributed them out to everyone in case they fell asleep during the movie. By the time everybody was out, it was already 9:30 PM.

"Let's start the movie up, shall we?" America cheered. He inserted the CD into the player. They watched the film and commented a lot at the funny parts. Prussia laughed and kept repeating that certain scenes were awesome, but not as awesome as him.

Australia opened a Coke and started sipping it quickly. He started getting hiccups right after. America, who was on the couch with Shelby, had a bag of popcorn in his hand, chewed loudly as he shared it with her and Canada. Kumajiro stared at Canada, constantly asking who he was, and Matthew would always reply with a quiet "I'm Canada!"

Japan's dull, brown eyes were staring at the screen, completely focused. He was on the floor at the right side of the couch next to Hong Kong.

Russia sat next to Hope in front of the couch, his usual smile on his face as he looked at the TV intently, waiting for the something to happen. Germany was wedged between Dreamz and Prussia. Prussia made comments all throughout the movie, and Germany had told him to shut up multiple times.

China was also sitting on the floor beside Hong Kong. Panda was sitting in front of him. Samantha was on his other side, next to Hope.

Japan had already fallen asleep, his head resting against the arm of the couch. Hong Kong's eyelids started to droop, and before they knew it, he fell asleep on Japan's shoulder. America quickly flipped out his iPhone and took several pictures of them.

The movie ended after a quick 2 hours, and Russia played his horror movie. It started off seeming like there was not a worry in the world. There was green grass everywhere and flowers. It was almost like a fairytale.

“Uh...Russia? Are you sure that this is a horror movie?” Samantha leaned over to look at Russia.

“Yes, friend Samantha. You have to wait, the happiness and flowers will disappear soon…” Ivan said mysteriously, then giggled. Shelby tensed up. America rubbed her back in an attempt to calm her down.

The fairytale-like atmosphere lasted for a whole 30 minutes longer, until the main character decided to move into a city. Samantha started to feel sleepy. She glanced over at Dreamz, who seemed to be in the same state. Australia, Prussia, and China had fallen asleep, snoozing softly. Dreamz then fell asleep a few minutes after them. Samantha started to drift off, but then a loud inhumane noise emitted from the TV, making everyone shriek and flinch, their expressions filled with fear.

But Prussia had screeched the loudest, his red eyes widened. Gilbird fluttered off his head. For a long second, the group didn’t know whether to laugh or be scared, but eventually they laughed nervously at Gilbert’s reaction.

Germany held Dreamz closer to him, both of their eyes widened in fear. Samantha and Hong Kong had clung onto China like a monkey would do to a tree. Japan held onto Loung’s arm. Shelby’s lip quivered and her eyes filled up with tears, like she was about to cry. America held onto her, his heart beating rapidly. Australia huddled closely to Canada. Canada was already crying softly, tears running down his face silently as he whimpered. Hope sat as still and as tense as a statue would do, having no one to hold onto at the moment.

Russia giggled at their reactions. “Ah, I may have forgotten to warn you about the jumpscares. But let’s not let that ruin the movie, da?”

The movie went on, and there were no more major jumpscares. But Dreamz was still extra careful, preparing herself for the more scary parts. She huddled closer to Germany and Prussia. She glanced over at the others, and they seemed to be in a worse state as her.

Canada had cried himself to sleep, and Shelby was rubbing her eyes harshly, wiping away the tears that threatened to fall down her face. She then looked around casually as if she hadn’t been scared to the point where she almost cried. Shelby’s expression turned stone-faced, and she tried to hide her emotions.

Samantha had buried her face into China’s shoulder, hiding away from the TV screen. Loung patted her back gently from behind him. Japan hugged Panda in an attempt to calm him down. Australia did the same with Kumajiro. Hope got up from her space beside Ivan, and went over to Matthew to check on him.

Samantha lay down and put her head on her and Yao's pillow. Hong Kong lay down on the floor as well, and so did Japan. Dreamz stretched, then lay back onto the edge of the sofa. Prussia squealed as he stretched in an unnatural position.

Russia looked around him after a few moments. Almost everyone had fallen asleep. He smiled a little at his sleeping friends and turned to Hope.

"I think we should sleep now, friend Hope. Everyone else is asleep and it is already 3 in morning," Russia said. He picked up the TV remote and switched it off, then placing it neatly next to the other remotes that were lined up beside it. He sat back down next to Hope, sighing.

"I do not think some of our friends enjoyed this movie," he murmured sadly. "Shelby and Canada certainly didn't. I just want to make more friends, that is all."

Hope looked at him. "But at least you have me, right? I think they'll warm up to you after a while."

Russia nodded. "Maybe you are right. But let's sleep now, da?" he said, smiling a little. He watched as Hope lay down onto her pillow and closed her eyes.

"Good night, Ivan."

"Good night, friend Hope."

~~~~~~
"Hey."
A hand was placed on Japan's shoulder as someone shook him awake. He opened his eyes, and saw that it was Hong Kong.
"Hong Kong-san. Good morning," Japan addressed him, sitting up and  rubbing his eyes. He looked around. "Why are you waking me up this early? No one is awake yet."
Loung simply flashed him a sly smile as he held up his camera.
"Oh, I get it now." Japan smiled sleepily, standing up. "Wait for me, I will get mine."
He went over to his bag behind the couch, slowly tiptoeing over so he wouldn't wake anyone. He dug out his own camera and looked at the sleeping bodies.
Germany was resting his head on the armrest of the couch as Dreamz slept soundly, her head resting against his thigh. Germany's arm was placed on her back. Prussia was sleeping in an awkward position, the upper half of his body on the ground and his legs spread out. His legs were on the couch, his right leg angled towards Germany that his foot was almost touching his brother's face. Prussia's mouth was wide open, and he snored loudly.
Beside them, Hope was sleeping on her side, facing her right. Russia was facing her back, and had pulled her closer to him as he covered her with his thick, warm coat.
To the left of the couch, Samantha's face was buried in China's chest. The Asian country's chin was resting on the top of her head as he had a protective arm wrapped around her.
On the sofa, Shelby and America had fell asleep sitting upright. The dark-haired girl's head was resting on his left shoulders. America had put his arm over her shoulders.
Canada was in the same position as he was last night, curled up tightly into a ball. Australia was sleeping face-down beside him. Panda and Kumajiro had somehow appeared on an empty space on the couch and cuddled as they slept.
"You don't usually get to see something like this when you're awake with the group," Loung said, turning to Kiku. "That's why I woke you up early."
"I agree. It is very cute," Japan replied, smiling as he looked at the plethora of pictures he took in his camera.
"Now let's get back to sleep before we get caught, okay?"
~~~~~~

Woah. Well that was really long. Much longer than I expected.

Anyway...I apologize if I haven't been updating on Mechanical Mutation. I was thinking of putting that one on hold while I wrote these scenes. I really enjoy writing them, they're really fun XD

And this one took a very long time to write. But now it's finished :3

Yay!
