So Illumination is planning to make a Mario based movie that will come out sometime 2022 but then I thought of something else.

Maybe the movie isn't actually Mario based but Luigi's Mansion based because well the series has been getting more attention lately.

Luigi's Mansion came out on the GameCube in 2001. Then a sequel came out in 2013 (the year of Luigi) *a huge gap there*

Then Luigi's Mansion 3 comes out in 2019. Around 7 years apart from the sequel rather than the 12 year gap.

Also let's not forget the 3DS remake to the first.

I just think that it could be possible.

But it's going to be awhile before we can find out. The Detective Pikachu Live action movie comes out at just around the corner so... Let's look up to how that movie will be first. Looks like Nintendo's going back to working on movies.

Also apparently a Sonic Live Action movie is coming out at some point. (Geez the Live Actions..) And I'm not sure about that one. Seriously look how the Super Mario Bros. Live Action Movie went.. Never do live action video games! (Although Detective Pikachu doesn't look that bad) but I still don't think Sonic would go well in the real world as good as Pokémon.
