Basically, I died today. That book has officially killed me. It killed my ship, it tore me apart. I just, it's terrible. I knew something was going to happen that was bad, but I wasn't ready for this

Why did you have to kill CASSIE?

Cassie was probably my favorite character in the 5th wave series, she was such a boss at life. I loved her so much. And I shipped her with Evan Walker soooooo much!!!!!!! CASSAN FOREVER!!!

But now, everything-the character I loved, the ship I shipped so hard, it all died.
When it said CASSIE died, I was just tearing up and I kind of was shocked for the rest of the book. But then when Evan flinched when Ringer said "Mayfly" I couldn't take it anymore and I just cried so much. I feel so bad for evan because he is forever alone. And when evan said "CASSIE didn't die for me to live" I completely lost it again.

Ahhhhhh, I'm so upset now
