So obviously this is going to contain some MASSIVE SPOILERS for Voltron season 8. There are also lots of pictures so be cautious if you even flick through. You might catch a glimpse of a picture that may spoil something rather huge. If you haven't watched it yet, I'd advise you not to read this, alright? Alright. Let's get into this then.

*clears throat*

So Lance and Allura were a thing. Not a fan of this at all haha. I didn't like Allura much and I felt Lance lost a lot of focus towards the end (if you know what I mean). Like Allura's boyfriend was all he was. Lance is my favourite character so maybe I'm really biased but I wished he came across as more... important. And independent.

Allura's death was a... wow. I didn't see that coming (until it was spoiled for me on social media). I thought it was good though. Not that I wanted her dead but yeah, good ending. It made me tear up a little if I'm honest and it's really hard for movies and tv shows to make me cry so that's an accomplishment.

Last night I spent some time scrolling through the Voltron tag on Instagram because I'm very sad and I had nothing better to do than fangirl(/whatever the gender neutral term of fangirl is) over Klance. I found that many many people are upset about Klance not being canon but it is up to the writers. Personally, I'd have liked some more Lance and Keith moments but we can't have everything. I'm not going to lie I had a bit of a meltdown when they touched hands or whatever. Just me? Okay. And the sunset scene was kind of cute, even though it was Allura-centred.

Very cute bois, am I right? (Also I searched for ages trying to find a picture of the sunset scene gosh why don't more screenshots exist?)

I also found that some people don't like the fact that Shiro ended up with Curtis (ngl had to look his name up). I don't see a problem with that. I'm proud of him for moving on after Adam really. Maybe they could have had some cute Shiro/Curtis scenes so it wasn't as :O when it happened but okay.

They are kind of cute really. Also LGBT+ representation!! They actually showed them kiss. I certainly didn't see that coming.

Back onto Lance, what was with the Altean markings? Is there some underlying meaning I am unable to see or did he just get them because he loved Allura?

I suppose the markings are kind of cute if we look over the fact that he got them because of Allura. I mean:

Oh yeah, it's the last season!! How emotional?? I'm going to miss it a lot and I'm sure you'll find me binge watching all the episodes again in the future. I'm disappointed that there won't be more but I guess it all rounded up at the end? Unless I missed something?

Wait wait wait. Coran never got to say goodbye to Allura! Someone just pointed that out on Instagram and it's true... we never got to see his reaction to losing the princess :(

Anyways I'll shut up now because I've already said to much.

Tldr: the season wasn't as bad as others have said but it still wasn't the best. I need me some more Klance. Goodish ending with Allura and I'm happy for Shiro.
