Pet peeves, whoop!

1. People perceiving my emotions in the wrong way.
Now this can actually cause some ham in between me and someone else if that person is in my family. I don't know why my family specifically but oh well. The only reason why I don't say friends as well (though I'm easily ticked at their actions) is that they never ask about it. They might think it but they never ask me about it... probably for their own good. I don't really mind people who I'm not that in-touch with asking but it still is a bit annoying.

2. Chargers that don't work.
Hehe, pretty self-explanatory. In fact, I'm using one of these "special" chargers right now..! *slowly inching towards insanity*

3. People repeating my words differently.
I sometimes hear my mom on the phone--not eavesdropping but rather overhearing sometimes--and she'll be talking about an interaction she's had with me. I hear what she says and them I'm like, "I did not fricken say that!!" This also falls under the category of people just overall misunderstanding me. Very annoying to me as well.

4. When someone says "You don't know that yet" to my opinions.
Ok, so, I don't think that anyone has ever actually said those exact words but I've heard close enough. I will say that this statement has proven to be true sometimes. When I was younger I wanted to be a paleontologist (I think that's how it's spelled). They dig up... bones n stuff, I don't really know anymore. My family (mostly my mom from what I remember) didn't believe that I could ever fit in that job. Me being the determined-and-borderline-stubborn me I was, was almost positive that I'd make it... Yeah no that's not what I want anymore. Eheh..! Still, now I am taking an interest in: photography, art, writing, journalism. But of course, I can't have those because "they don't make enough money!" I've heard statements that say artists don't get money and that I'd become a starving artist if I tried to peruse that career... what?? I'm sorry, I'm sorry... but really, adults don't know about paypal n stuff.
Another part to this (sorry it's so long, you probs won't and haven't read the entire thing) is that I hear this whenever I say "I don't want to have kids." This feeds off into our next pet peeve:

5. The way that society makes requirements, almost, that you need to reach/accomplish.
One of the requirements I find is that you find a partner and then have kids. Like, just... what if you don't want kids? Again, people have told me, "You don't know that yet." I am pretty d@mn sure that I will hold this opinion, if from any others. People born female are told that they have a, "natural motherly instinct." ...Not to offend anyone but I kinda hate kids. .-. I believe I've heard one person (whether they remember it or not) tell me that I'd enjoy having kids or something like that, "trust me." My Irene I'm so PEEVED-- Ahem, sorry. This also includes things like a very selfish thought that everyone wants to have s3x, gender roles and all that. First of all, just no. Stop it. Second of all: girls can be quote on quote "manly" and still be friends with other girls, and boys can be "girly" without being gay. That's just it. Transgender: perfectly fine! Non-binary: again, perfectly fine!! In fact, I respect those who go against "the normal."

So yeah, that's some of my biggest peeves. If I find anymore then I'll make sure to make a part two, I don't care if you all like it or not. I posted this up for mostly my own sake, and you chose to click on this.
