So last night I was really tired so I only gave y'all that but here's like a whole long story... so much happened!

So we got there and me Bridgett and Mattie walked around for a little while, then we got in line to audition. We met a DUDE flute player! That's SO cool!!!

But then

Bridgett had the bright idea to let the klutz hold her flute

But I had my hands full

And it fell when she tried to give it to me

And the keys

Were horrible

It wouldn't play

We were all scared to DEATH

So we were trying to fix it and telling people to go in front of us and stuff then we got the plan

Bridgett use Mattie's flute Bc she plays better on it I use mine and we try and stay in like while she goes in

We were about to have to go in with the wacky flute when Bridgett cans running up with Mattie's.

WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO GO AUDITION MY NECKLACE WAS STUCK IN MY FLUTE AND WOULDNT COME OUT I ALMOST BROKE MY FLUTE AND NECKLACE😂😂😂

When I was auditioning I messed up on the last 2 notes of my chromatic scale and macs a frog sounding noise Bc I was sweating so much my finger slipped. Then when I got done with my music he said "you are the ONLY person who had played that chrishindo (Idk how to spell it sorry) today. You get bonus points.

Well I got out from auditioning and ran over to Bridgett who was crying Bc it wasn't even her flute. It wasn't nothing bad it was just 2 keys that wouldn't move, but sometimes that happens naturally. So we lied to our band director so she could fix it😂

Well Austin came over and he had Starbucks and I drank most of it

Then me and Mattie and Austin went to Starbucks and people kept asking if me and Austin were dating or brother and sister lol we get both of those a lot

So then we had to go back and go to the auditorium, where they announce what band and chair we get.
The bands are
White band: lowest
Yellow band: middle
Purple (wind ensemble): best

(And note that it's not just my school it's everyone school around here and schools that have traveled in to go to this event)

So all my friends (Mattie Bridgett Abby Austin and Gabe) were called for the white band. I bursted into tears like fr I was so stressed and that just made me ugh then I realized Eli was still there so I went over to him and Mrs Hayes and then he was called for Yellow band and I started crying again lol Mrs Hayes is like "you should be happy!!" And I just didn't want to be alone

But we rehearsed for an hour and it's so hard I swear it's TOO hard and nobody will help me and the band director seems to hate me for no reason:(

Today I have to go to school then we all go to UNA
We practice for 2 hours
Lunch (we're going to McDonald's or something)
Practice 2 more hours
Break
Practice 2 hours
5-7 leave and come back
7:30 concert
