So I recently discovered the song "No Promises" by Cheat Codes ft. Demi Lovato on my never-ending quest for more and more music.

And there's a certain thing that really frustrates me that I desperately need to talk about for no valid reason.

One of the lines is "Promise me no promises." And so many of the frickin' comments are like, "Ohhh, bUT U're liTeRally bReaKing the pr0MiSe by aSking to mAke one lolololol!"

Like yeah. That's the fucking point. That makes the lyrics cooler and adds depth to the song. Are you the same people who snark about "Never say Never"???

It's like... you aren't geniuses for figuring that out. It's supposed to be a paradox like that. One commenter even said that they and their siblings didn't like the song because of it! Like... what?!
