Hatoful Boyfriend and Hatoful Boyfriend Holiday Stars spoilers. Also, I know this isn't gonna help make my case when it comes to actually wanting people to take these games seriously, but the games themselves juggle between taking themselves seriously and being completely off the walls.

So, there's this person on YT and other socials that I really like who makes a lot of Hatoful Boyfriend content. Like, I think they're one of the only people who consistently makes animatics for it. They reposted someone's tumblr post with a summary of one of the second game's chapters. I had one those moments where I went: "This? This is one of my favorite visual novels ever?"

Also, one of the first game's main routes, the only one that doesn't tie into ANYTHING plot-wise, has one of the characters, Okosan, turn into an avatar for the Pudding God. His name is Lord Pudi and he engulfs the world in pudding. Not kidding. Also, Okosan is based off of the creator's real bird, hilariously enough.
