It's 11 pm, I'm exhausted, and a Slow Mo Guys video is giving me an existential crisis. June 1st, 2023 has been an odd day. Since around 3 pm, everything has felt a little bit like a dream.

Update 2: Watching CrystAAHL's You Laugh You Lose videos. I also just remembered that Hayes from Hustle Cat literally gets stuck in a tree. I think I'm good at bouncing back from hard days.

Having ANOTHER crisis because I've just realized I have NO idea how you get corn kernels for popcorn. I'm under the assumption that the corn you eat and the kernels you make popcorn with are the same thing. But HOW?! The kernels are the seeds, and the stuff you eat is probably the fruit, right?! So how DO you get the kernels from cobs?! Are the kernels cobs from corn that's not ready to eat yet?! Are they aged?! This feels like such a stupid question but I'm BAFFLED.

This reminds me of the time I couldn't fucking comprehend how any food could possibly have zero calories. It turns out, if it contains three or fewer calories, people can market it as having zero.
