Hi, have another compilation of thoughts from the past couple weeks

I love the way that video game creators seem to cash in favors with each other/help each other out with their own projects. Like, for instance, Laura Shigihara sang for both To the Moon and Deltarune. Kan Gao was listed in the credits for Rakuen for Ruby Game System Scripts, and then Toby Fox composed at least one song for Mr. Saitou (the upcoming sequel). Also really guys, buy and play Rakuen, that game is immaculate.

Just had a thought to myself: "Huh, when you give Cove a graduation gift in Step 3, it plays the track called 'Romance' even when you're on a distinctly platonic route." And the fact that I'm a big enough nerd to have noticed that makes me happy. (Also I'm a big enough nerd to check and realize that this is only the case for really sentimental gifts; if you choose a slightly jokier one, the track that plays is 'Twinkle.')

Still on the Our Life train of thought. Sometimes, I randomly unlock one stray line of text that I somehow managed not to have seen before, and I have zero clue why.

Ghost Trick Spoilers Kind Of?
Honestly? Poor Emma has it freaking rough. Woman doesn't deserve the chaos that happens to her over the course of the game. The game does such a good job setting her up as a really hatable character because we only hear Amelie's very incomplete perspective, but once we learn that Emma is separated from the Justice Minister because he won't take back Jowd's execution order, it makes you feel like real shit for getting her stuck in a chandelier and dragging her up to the ceiling. Amelie doesn't help, so literally HOW does she get off the ceiling?!

I almost went the whole day without remembering that it's Pi Day! This isn't, like, one of my absolute favorite days of the year, but I do have a certain fondness for it. First of all, it's Chihiro and Chiaki's birthday. Second, it reminds me of a memory I made in eighth grade. I was practicing for one of my shows in the drama club I was in, and one of my friends brought a bunch of pies for the kids who had bothered to show up on the weekend. There was a delicious strawberry pie, I think. It was just a really nice, sleepy morning.

Spoilers for "Holes" by Louis Sachar
Getting back into my Holes era. Including the movie. And the way that Stanley constantly hugs Hector is just incredibly endearing. Especially when they open the chest and he just wraps one arm around his shoulder and the other around his head. Just... adorable, adorable friendship.

My mom posts inspirational messages she finds on the internet whenever any of her children are especially stressed or having a bad day. It's very charming.

I like the Strength confidant more as herself than as the twins, but honestly, I think at least part of that is just because her name is gorgeous.

Tails from Sonic? His name is canonically Miles Prower. MILES FUCKING "TAILS" PROWER! And it took a stoner to realize that it's a goddamn PUN ON MILES PER HOUR!!!
